AAA is annoying to deal with at times, but the fact that Billy-Bob lost his shit over being stuck in a car is hilarious to me. Probably because hybrid batteries aren't standardized, even in the same model over the course of years, and AAA could never logistically handle that. Assuming they don't have some kind of deal worked out with major manufacturers to not touch them, in order to funnel drivers into dealer service centers to ensure they are right fucked. Which is why if you have a hybrid, you stay on that and make sure the batteries are tested every service call and know those warranty performance thresholds like the back of your hand. But either way, have fun with that multi-thousand-dollar repair bill Kino Blobby, because that's the part about hybrids and electrical cars you're not told on the showroom floor, which makes them cost-prohibitive in the long run compared to regular-ass fuel-injected and emissions-controlled cars.

I mean, other than the part about the carbon footprint to make those stupid batteries is just as high if not higher than that of lifetime emissions from a comparable conventional car. And a hell of a lot higher in externalities from rare-earth production and other greenhouse gas emissions like sulfur dioxide.

Assuming it doesn't just need a jump start and the stupid bastard knows hybrids can be jump started in the first place, and can find the jump start terminals.
