How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Imagine what Bob would say about anyone who’d tweeted something like this from Charlottesville:

Bob will never, ever stop trying to get Lindsay Ellis to notice him. I have rarely cringed so hard.

He can’t find it or can’t buy it because of the bill collectors he tweeted about dodging? Either way, what’s absurd is how tone deaf this ugly fatso is. Tens of millions of people are out of work, struggling to feed their families, and the inability to get an old movie is driving him to mad-tweet. This manchild will never grow up and thank God he has never had the chance to procreate.

Of course not. To thank God is to believe in God, to believe in God is to humble oneself before another. And Bob is too arrogant to ever knowingly/willingly humble himself before anyone.

Not counting the simping.

Bob is more likely to get laid by a deity than he is by any of the female or trans humans he openly lusts after on Twitter.

and the rural/urban cultural division (Robert would hate how the books handle that, which might be why he's never mentioned this series, even in passing) are still pertinent today.
Actually, Bob HAS talked about The Hunger Games. He reviewed all the movies and if I recall correctly he also sperged about them on Twitter quite a bit.

Unsurprisingly his main takeaway was that it was a smear piece against the good, evolved, superior urban elites by the racist, stupid, unevolved rural troglodytes.

Also, I recall him being butthurt about Alma Coin (a secondary villain-character, a scheming politician only interested in furthering her own power, for those of you who haven't read the books) and how she was quite obviously inspired by Saint Hillary.

To believe in god is to believe he’ll save you from your sins and change for the better. Bob unfortunately has his head up his own ass and will never change.

I'm really late to the party with this one, but fuck it. A few weeks ago I saw a screencap on /tv/ where Bob was asking Germany to invade Poland but it was either deleted or fake and gay. Can anyone solve this mystery for me?

It was real. He tried to damage control and then deleted everything. He basically said that the German military should "take care" of the leader of poland, and then his argument was "NO I MEANT AN ASSASSINATION NOT A FULL INVASION". When he realised what a fucking retard he was making of himself he DFE'd.
Here's what I could find with the search function ;) , looks like there isn't an archive per se but plenty of caps and some embedded tweets on the twitchy link.

Feminism, hah.
The entire #MeToo movement originated among the "decadent elites" that treated women like veal cattle for decades, and when it was exposed, Hollywood shifted the blame onto corporate blue-collar America and forced them into performative "sensitivity training", but sure Bob, clearly you've always been a big fan of "TRUE liberation".

So wait? Man I'm so confused, this isn't a take for a normal human being, there's so much wrong in here I don't even know where to begin.
And even then, implying Bob's right, somehow. What's the problem if I just want to make a political Sci-Fi with Roman like elite decadence? Is it bad because is not social commentary? AND EVEN IMPLYING THAT'S RIGHT! Does this fat ass believe every country in the world is the US where the elites would push for liberation and the book wouldn't be relevant somewhere else?
For some reason having flashbacks to this article.

I dunno, I find this a lot closer to sanity than DRUMPF = VOLDEMORT

Rebellious impulses are co-opted by the System in the service of the social changes it requires; activists "rebel" against the old and outmoded values that are no longer of use to the System and in favor of the new values that the System needs us to accept. In this way rebellious impulses, which otherwise might have been dangerous to the System, are given an outlet that is not only harmless to the System, but useful to it.

He can't genuinely believe that major companies actually care about social justice, can he? His life of consumerism has to have shown him that they use causes for marketing gimmicks at some point.
Bob, like most obsessive consumers, either lacks critical thinking skills or refuses to apply them to the products he enjoys for fear of realizing how shitty they actually are.

Bob has that brand of relentless autism that he will brainwash himself when the corporate cash grab happens to things he loves. He literally gaslit himself into liking the 1993 Mario Bros. film because he viewed his imaginary relationship with Mario as too important to hurt his feelings by dissing on his movie. He's flat-out admitted to drawing significant sections of his personal moral code from cartoons too many times now for me to believe he's speaking metaphorically, which he always resorts to claiming when people start teasing him.

Bob is "working class" - he only reviews mainstream movies and entertainment (which I'm not dissing solely for being "mainstream", but generally speaking is marketed to an average IQ and a 6th grade reading level, which is what I'm assuming Bob primarily reads and writes at), the same with most generic political opinion/commentary, regardless of "left/right" politics.

Something like reviewing and critiquing the works of Emmanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill, etc would be above him, and won't sell to the audience he writes for (who probably don't even know who those people are).

lmao - Bob's views about everything are so parochial - I'm willing to bet that this cunt's never had a passport, let alone been out of the country.

It's extra funny because he just loves to see himself as a big-brained member of some kind of intellectual elite, but instead he's just the worst kind of white trash boorish oaf imaginable himself.

If he ever has that moment of clarity, I think it might just do him in.

Bob doesn't understand the concept of fiction and how it is not necessarily related to reality.
He doesn't understand the difference between them. To him, reality works by the same fundamental rules as movies do, he doesn't get that not only the characters and plots are made up, but the internal rules as well. By now, his entire worldview is based on how movies work, mixed in with his own experiences (themselves warped by movie-watching).
Bob has an incredibly wonky view of the world. On the one hand he hates elitists like Harvard fratboys and so on because movies like Van Wilder taught him that they're meanies and that you should root for the underdog. At the same time he loves authoritarian elitists because Marvel has taught him that might makes right. He has no moral compass and is not opposed to violence, oppression, and plain old sadism as long as it is done by and to the right people, because in his mind, the end justifies the means.
