I think someone on the farms said this, and it may have been a quote from elsewhere: Democrats make laws assuming they'll always be in power, while Republicans make laws assuming Democrats are in power. Long-term thinking is not a leftist strong point.

It's even more hilarious when they pretend that it's their side that plays nice and by the rules all the time, and if those dang dirty Republicans weren't cheating, they'd never win anything at all. It's probably one of the biggest collective cases of projection out there, and it's what they use to justify all their own underhanded moves (like suddenly finding boxes full of Democrat ballots after the election is over). "Well, they're certainly doing this or worse, so we're just leveling the playing field!"

And of course, Bob cheers it along because anything to own the mayo ghouls. Repugnant as usual.

So I guess Bob and the left think they can just threaten violence whenever they might lose and that is a winning tactic.

They still do not realize how damaging this is to their side and unrealistic it is a threat. How many tens of thousands of people are part of these violent riots? What happens when the less extremist shed? What happens when everyone else has just had enough and defaults to violence when dealing with them?

These people do not think about the consequences of their strategy.

Both sides play dirty. Both sides are presumably playing to win (in spite of Dems fielding demonstrably terrible presidential candidates with too much baggage twice in a row). Never deceive yourself into believing that just because they profess to agree with your ideals that they aren't using underhanded tactics to achieve that. You're either naive or willfully blind if you believe they aren't.
