Maybe, but I think Bob is unlikable enough even to many of those people that they might make an exception. Especiall if orange man wins the election, I think Bob will go so far even they can't ignore it. "Specific, targeted death threats" far.
They certainly — inexplicably — engaged an audience, but none of the instalments of the MCU that I've seen have been good. I haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy and Antman, for example, yet if Infinity Wars and Endgame are considered the crown jewels of the whole project, then I can safely say that each and every movie is this universe are painfully mediocre and bland. That these movies have such a frenzied fanbase that find Martin Scorsese's innocuous comment of the mediocrity and cheapness of the movies to be an affront to their idea of the MCU representing the supposed zenith of cultural (and in Robert's case, intellectual) perfection is disappointing, to put it mildly.
Even good critics like MauLer hold up the MCU as masterful storytelling with a few stumbles here and there.* His TFA critque will have either Buffy the Vampire Slayer clips or RDJ as examples of good character writing. It's not just Diabeto holding up the MCU as the pinnacle of storytelling.
People mistake "cohesively if not creatively designed" and "competently put together" for good if you mix it in with some jokes and CGI battles. There are some great superhero movies, but the only MCU film I really think is any good is the first Iron Man. I feel like, they range from dull and forgettable to Star Wars prequel bad. I meant the Thor movies even have Natalie Portman as the love interest for maximum prequel awfulness.

Bob's definition of "working class", or rather "actually relevant evolved 21st Century intellectual/creative working class" includes mainly metropolitan (home) office jobs and the baristas who serve them coffee. It means the underpaid animators who slave away to make the newest Pixar movie possible, the movie reviewers who talk about said movies, and other "content creators" who further the cycle of consoomption as well as the actual working class people who work the coffee machines and supermarket cash registers. Of course, the latter are in more immediate danger of being automated, which should concern Bob since he thinks those metropolitan working class people are mainly PoCs and good folks, but of course, Bob also thinks everyone in the BIG CITY is a creative genius just waiting to happen, and those PoC baristas and cashiers will just become intellectual/creative working class content creators like Bob himself since they're not obsolete mayo ghouls.

Both are very possible. I mean, his desperation when begging is akin to an obese chick in Onlyfans. But thinking that Bob has gone full neet and is now 100% supported by his family while having absolutely no chance of getting a job might make the Blob even more bitter about his situation, so expect more ramblings about Trump and mayo ghouls.
