The more you dig into his actual motivations on non-political things, the more you realize he's so hilariously emotionally stunted/immature that it's hard to get mad at him when he goes all hateful over politics. Yeah he says reprehensible stuff, but its such an obvious coping mechanism it's not worth getting upset over. He's basically the twitter pseudointellectual version of Vincent Adultman.

tbh he's much less of a shill and much more a contrarian with shit taste. No one was hyping up the last few Godzilla movies or Pacific Rim's sequel like Bob was, even among the shill critics. And as much as many of the critic industry have issues with Zack Snyder's last few movies, none have the particular seething rage for them and their supposed target audience that Bob does, to the point he projects it backwards on similar-but-different movies like the Nolan Batman films.

I think it's pretty optimistic to think Bob has any kind of plan. Seems like he just angrily lashing out after the escapist dropped his ass.
He doesn't care about political directions because he thinks they're obsolete descriptions that will be erased after the Great Realignment (or whatever it was), when AOC leads urbanite PoC-baristas in a jihad against any and all wrongthink and non-megacorp property and control. Bob hates everyone who doesn't agree with him, Left or Right doesn't matter. They're all the unevolved chuds to him. It's just that due to his circle being more leftwing oriented he's getting more lefties in his timeline, and since they tend to disagree with him (on account of Blob being an absolutely atrocious human being) he fights them. He can't help it.
