I don't mean to disparage retail managers but holy shit Chris. There are podcasts with guests that are scientists, professors, etc. Like genuine experts in their fields that can give you an educated view on life and uplife people everywhere. Someone needs to sit him down and emphatically explain to him just the depths to which a normal person does not care about what he and a regional manager of a long dead obsolete retail chain has to say.

Retail people have fun, sad, rage-inducing, harrowing, heart-warming stories to tell too, but no one will tune in unless Chris pique people's interest beforehand.

If Chris was actually a galaxy brain engineer maybe he could make a podcast about what work as an engineer is like. Give aspiring engineers tips and insider knowledge of what the industry is like. Maybe that could serve an interesting niche that would grab certain people's attention. Instead he decided to make a podcast about working at fucking Blockbuster.

He seems to have giant nostalgic goggles about working at a VHS store meanwhile his constant Patreon begging indicates he's doing everything he can to get out of his engineering work.

I had an ex who absolutely loved reading customer stories. Basically stories people would post about their shitty retail experience dealing with customers. THAT could be interesting. The problem is that Chris promotes his podcast not as relatable retail stories, but as a podcast about "THE CHIPPA". He titles a bunch of his content as "THIS MADE THE CHIPPA" as if people already know who the Chippa is or have any reason to give a fuck.

Being an online content creator in 2020 is a competitive field. You need to get people's interest. Making videos about what "MADE THE CHIPPA" is not something anyone is looking for. There's no audience for this besides weird Bob fans who end up curious about Bob's brother.

Retail stories can be entertaining, but there's an art to telling them. An art Chris isn't skilled in.

It will always be amusing that a man who likes to use the word "obsoletes" with the same venom and implication as "subhumans" has a raging beetus boner for things as truly obsolete as Blockbuster Video, a fixation his entire family seems to share. There's literally no argument for Blockbuster's existence with the rise of digital distribution and online shopping except nostalgia.

Blockbuster wasn't even that good of a video store. The best video stores were those Mom and Pop operations with the "Adult Section" in the back, closed off by a curtain. The people who worked there knew enough about movies to give you a few good ideas on what to watch, while the teen retail drones who worked at big chain rental stores probably didn't. The Mom & Pop stores probably had more obscure movies in their collection - things that tickled their own fancy or things that they wanted to share with the world, while the big chains had 72 copies of the latest Hollywood release. As a result, finding a little known cult gem at a big chain was probably something that only happened once in a great while. I wouldn't mind hearing the crazy tales of customer interaction at a small town Mom n Pop rental store on a podcast. I'll bet it would be like the podcast version of Acts of Gord, which is still entertaining to read 8 years after it stopped updating.

He always has. Race is just an obfuscating shield of wokeness for Robert so that some people on his side don't call him a Nazi.

Film Robert: "Masculinity is backwards, evil, and the worst thing for society. We should move as far away from it as possible."
Also Film Robert: "I bench 300. I own guns. I'm an expert at wilderness survival. I had a threesome in middle school. I'm from Boston, we fight."
Ugh, all you MAGA chuds with these fake news and lies about good ol' Bob. He never claimed to have benched 300 lbs, get your facts right and not from that harassment forum.

He claimed 310 lbs.

I am not in this thread very long, but for the most avid followers of "The Pedothinker", does he even write about games anymore? Not just dunking on Gamers, but actually opinion/analysis/anything that requires functioning brain cells about games?
No. Others already covered this better, but to add a bit of history.

Bob has been out of touch with gaming since the gamecube. He claims he went to college and didn't have time for games, and when he came back he was alienated by the fact that the Mario plumbers and 2D platformers weren't king any more. Not only that, but there were "jocks" and "dude bros" everywhere playing GTA, Halo, Madden, and Call of Duty.

One of Bob's early lolcow moments was Mass Effect 3. The ending was notoriously awful, but the games press defended it because they had huge ad deals "valued artistic integrity". Bob jumped to the games defence too, but had never played the games, and hadn't seen the ending. He got btfo, doubled down, and got btfo'd again.

All he cares about is Mario games. That would be perfectly fine, but as shown with Mass Effect 3, and similar embarrassments like defending Metroid Other M, condemning Batman: Arkham City, and not being able to tell Dark Souls from Skyrim, he liked to pretend to be riding the wave of pop culture.

I think he's learned that he can't even pretend any more, so he just doesn't bother.

Fresh from the oven is a fairly small portion of Big Picture for an average-sized person. Surprisingly it is not about The Synder Cut
I'm surprised Bob is actually showing sense by having non-election day content for election day. Didn't hold true for his twitter though.

Bobby doesn't consider the police "working class":

Bobby can't process the fact that all minorities veer towards Trump, and that white men, mayonnaise ghouls, are the only saviors of Biden. He resorts to his tired slurs -- low IQ, states that matter, ect, oblivious to how unwoke these makes him:
