I know Bob hates the U.S. Constitution, but it actually has a mechanism to help movie theaters, and any other business: It's called bankruptcy.

He's an idiot. Corporate bankruptcy can be either Chapter 7 or 11. 7 is the one where you're liquidating. That's the "bad" one. The more common one is 11, and involves debt reorganization.

Anyway, somebody should ask him what the studios are doing to help the theaters. The answer is, of course, nothing, but Blobby can't say this due to delusions he has that there might be a place for him someday in Hollywood.

In fact, you could make an argument they're doing their best to sink theater chains. First run movies are getting kicked down the road to 2021 or even 2022, family or niche type movies are going straight to streaming. I think Wonder Woman 1984 and Free Guy were the last two major releases in 2020, but they've now both moved to 2021. (And I think Free Guy was gonna not exactly bomb, but not exactly be a tentpole, personally, Covid or no Covid.)

Times that by 12 (for months hel'll get payouts in a year) you get $33600. Divide it by 2080 (for typical working hours in a year) you get an estimated hourly wage of $16.15. He's been doing this for over a decade. People who've worked at the same warehouse, for the same amount of time, and have applied themselves will most likely be making more than that. Not only has he been doing this for a decade but he's self employed meaning that there's no business that offers him insurance, retirement, or any benefits. Plus he lives in Bahstain. A quick search gave me this website which says that Bob is paying about 13% in income tax.

Assuming this is near accurate that drops his estimated hourly wage to $14.05. Even if his sympathy boost in his patreon doesn't evaporate this next month, he'd still only be making about $22.60. Now a man could live off of that. A man could raise a family on that, albeit with things maybe getting tight from time to time. However Bob is not rolling in it. In fact he was probably struggling for quite some time. It helps explain why he tried to pawn his junk off on ebay. Speaking of evaporating...

Still more than I make and more than he deserves. I honestly don't get why people pay for stuff like youtubers. It costs about $0 to make videos on youtube, and there are so many doing it, for free, why would you ever pay for it.
