bob's been trying to get into the channel awesome crew for years now. Check this post out. He FAWNS over doug walker. He's been trying to shoehorn himself into their "crew" for years even tho the band broke up he still thought he was "part of the crowd" when he was just the weird outsider. He never even attempted to connect with any of the escapist's people he worked with in either part of his tenure there. TLDR bob has been a fan of doug walker for years and the "gaslighting" tweet comes from a place of deep obsession with these people who are sub par at best and irrelevant at worst in the media scene. instead of bring up his own crowd or streaming, producing anything that wasn't a movie review or "talking shop" as he puts it to actually engage with these people and co-produce things like they've done for eachother.
