1- First let's get to the Coruscant claim. Robert seems to ignore who had to build the Asian Coruscant doesn't he? For such a bleeding heart lefty, he ignores that Chinese construction workers work under slave wages, with a union that doesn't protect them because it is part of CCP, not to mention the facility and exorbitant tax breaks construction has on China, which led to over construction.
In comparison, in New York a guy has to sell his kidney to have a hot dog cart on the streets. And Yet Robert praises these blue state policies.
back to over construction, while the buildings might be Architetural marvels, they are mostly empty. In Dubai, where migrant workers are forbiden to enter unions, about 60 to 80% of their new building haven't been able to reach a satisfactory occupation rate, and so constructions are having a hard time making their money back. in China shit got so bad that there is even a phenomenon of ghost cities: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Under-occupied_developments_in_China
So, what the fuck do you want Robert, you either suffocate workers to have your jetsons buildings, or you get to have you tax heavy liberal cities, you can't have both, because the money is going to places that can at least allow the prospect of making money out of these absurdly expensive enterprises.
2- Space shit. I know Robert is being glib with the moon disneyland shit. But here is the thing about space exploration and outer planet colonization

Financial and govermental incentive are super, and new discoveries are being made everyday, but the fundamental of creating a sustainable artificial enviroment outside of earth is still a far fetched objective. Same goes for space exploration. Rockets are great and all, but as far as the need for true capable and practical space travel, it is still rudimentary as shit, and no one has a better solution so far.
What Robert is asking for are such a paradigm shift discoveries that just don't come across by doing "science". Stomping your feet and asking for progress does't work for shit., much less point to a country that is still struggling on how to bring back a moon rock, something the USA and URSS did more than half a century ago.
So fucken chill with the crybaby act Robert. It is histerical the assertion that the west gave up on self-improvement over scientific progress when it comes from a person who made a carrer out of internet videos and after 10 years, still doesn't know how to work a green screen.
