Bob's director career wasn't stillborn because he was too afraid to move to Hollywood; that was actually one of the more prudent things that Bob has done. Bob couldn't afford to move because he had student loans to repay and then his income decreased with the adpocalypse and his own declining views. What Bob could have done, and needed to do, to make a career in movies a possibility was to better his own craft. It would show Hollywood people that he knew his stuff if he could do things like meaningfully discuss the technical aspects of making movies, or make videos with competent editing and green-screen effects that didn't make him look like an Obsolete Relish Ghoul. And making better videos would bring in more money so that he could actually move, or even start making his own amateur films. It would also bring him more fame, which would help as well.

Instead, he Twittered himself into oblivion, wasting all of his time and bringing him infamy instead of fame. Instead, he showed that he just wasn't good enough to ever be part of Hollywood, and god knows that he can't make up for that with good looks (as a gross fat balding sunken-cheeked mutant), sexual favors (as an incel virgin), or playing the social game (as a literal autist).

If I were a defense attorney I would have a full erection during those examinations/cross examinations.
Yeah. There's no way the prosecution can prove Chauvin murdered Floyd.

Bobby has hidden wounds, much more than what he would share in public.

Put your Fake News away and listen to Award-winning journalist Zack Davisson, like Bobby does.
(By "Award" I mean the Eisner Award)

The Chicago Tribune article Davisson linked to says the prep's motive remained unclear.

1) yes, Chris, you do need an adult. I'm glad to see you recognise it.
2) MAGA virus? Remind me which country it originated in and which party suppressed the fact that it existed.
3) are they saying property is a right under socialism? That's cute.
Simp to Big Brother confirmed?
He doesn't have tits or a bunda, so no.

To expand on this point: Bob's entire reason for living is to passively take in media and then talk about it on YouTube where there are hundreds, if not, thousands of people with more talent than him.

Let's not forget he started as GamingBlob. I can only guess that he switched to film because it appears to be lower-effort.

Of course, it's not if you do it correctly, but Bob only sees that "watch two hour film" is easier than "spend at least 40 hours playing game."

And wouldn't murder need a specific victim?

IANAL but offhand, if we accept this was deliberate then some sort of product-tainting charge would seem more appropriate.

No, murder doesn't need a specific victim. If I shoot at Bob but hit you, I'm still guilty of murder. What matters is the intent to kill, no matter who actually ends up dead. That's why I think Chauvin can't be convicted of murder; you'll never prove he intended to kill Floyd.

Everything I cam find also comes to the unclear motive conclusion too. I dug into this one pretty deeply because this is the sort of thing that really intrigues me, when someone does something where the motive both isn't obvious and I can't really work out a good guess.

If this "making the vaccine look like it doesn't work" was the motive then still I have to ask why? What would the end game be to convincing people of that? If that was the motive then wouldn't that put the guy on the same side as Bob and co in trying to scare people into perma-shutdown?
In all honesty I figured it was a simple mistake. Guy probably took them out for an inventory check or to prep for shots or something, got distracted, then went off and forgot about them.

Assume incompetence before malice is my motto.

All of that is very true and a more likely reason. Bob is a lazy slob that will only put in the minimum amount of effort and expects maximum benefits in return. Hell, Chris takes after him in that regard with his relentless e-begging. What I find even funnier is that Bob presents himself as an industry sage when he is the class dunce. That Escapist podcast revealed how he knows jack shit about Disney and their precarious financial situation, specifically how they rely on their parks for revenue and have had to borrow money to cover their operating costs. Warner Media and Universal aren't doing that hot either, but at least their corporate parents (AT&T and Comcast) have a revenue stream. Bob assumes that Disney will buy them all out when Disney is the small fish in the pond. It would not surprise me in the least if Apple or Amazon makes a move if Disney continues to sink deeper into debt.

Anyway...

I regularly listen to channels like Midnight's Edge, Doomcock, and Clownfish TV instead of him because they have insiders inside Disney and in the case of the latter, actually worked for the Rat so they are aware of the company's corporate culture. Bob is just the weirdo outside the wall issuing proclamations. Hell, if I were an armchair PhD I would diagnose Bob as a raving psychotic because all of his opinions are based on a fantasy he constructed to rationalize why his very existence is a cosmic joke. By Odin's Beard, he is the most parochial hick you will ever meet (and he certainly looks the part) and he tries to pass himself as cosmopolitan with his MCU fellatio and Mountain Dew chicken.

Nah, based on everything I've seen, he's been trying to be MovieBob from the start, it's just that he thought it was easier to record footage of himself as a big brained gametuber than it was to actually review movies. Or he assumed he could get away with his original method and there would be more 'characters' to work with, like the Anti-thinker, the fake Navi, or the two fat ninjas.

All of whom, of course, were played by him.

Doomcock? Eh.... That guy just seems really dumb to me.

The final nail in the coffin for me was when he complained on Nerdrotic's steam that the new Watchmen tv show was political. Not in any specific way, just that it was "political".

Does he actually know anything about the original Watchmen?

He also reports on every fake rumor from 4Chan, even though he should know that people intentionally make fake rumors to bait guys like him.

There's a video where this guy talks about how 4Chan does it. They even include hidden messages in the posts that give away that it's fake.

Guy already admitted to deliberately removing it or at least he did according to the medical centre press release, which is why we have the articles. Loads must get damaged accidentally every day and the media wouldn't pick it up. That's why I've moved on to why.

I was not aware of that, but I still rate him higher than Bob. Not that Chipman sets a high bar.

In my little echo chamber of YouTube video recommendations he was the first one to break the details of the test screenings for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The combination of the ludicrous abortion of a SW story and his whole schtick made it feel like I was watching some sort of Max Headroom signal hijacking incident... and then it turned out to be true.

I see him as more of a trippy speculation/gossip channel than a commentator/reviewer and he has actual insider information occasionally which makes him both more entertaining AND more factually correct than Bob.

It's probably that I work with so many lawyers that I can point out that one can do something deliberately, and still make a mistake. But of course the press love to use "deliberate" as all but an admission of guilt. It's a perfect word to imply with deniability.

I'm not doubting you at all, I just have no faith in the press any more.

As political original Watchmen was, the TV series def was more "Muh right side of history" pandering. It is kinda weird he never addressed that, since it was the most obvious thing people called out when they saw the trailers for it.

So I was right. He rather die screaming in silence than allow his enemies to see him suffer. That kind of stuff is why you'll never be happy, Chipman. It took a lot from you because unlike others which were a tragedy, and unforeseen circumstances. Yours was a mountain of shit finally coming to claim the check. And when it did happen, you didn't learn. You blamed others for your shit, or flat out ignored the reason why they hated you in the first place!

This all, but confirms he was furious about the Escapist firing, and even more furious that Ellis nuked his ass openly. Good job, Bob. Hope 2021 doesn't cut you some slack, you fat bastard

Do you think FilmRobert still avidly reads Lindsay's tweets and watches her videos behind the scenes, or is he so pissed off over his public humiliation that he's just gonna silently ignore her?

He's a fucking simp who's lusted over her for ages and we've seen how he treats Aimée Therese.

He's stalking her.

I think we went over it before on this thread but there are 2 issues here.

1) Part of Watchmen's whole point is that there are BIGGER things than politics. The entire villain's plot is a giant effort to get people to see beyond politics. So to me points about it being "political" is kind of like saying driving miss daisy is racist. Yes to a point...

2) Speaking of the larger peoblem with the sequel series is that they made racism the central political issue.

Racism. In a series where a few years before a major metropolitan city was tentacle raped by a giant alien. (As far as the public knows.)

Not saying you couldn't do a watchmen-esque tale with racism as the centerpiece, but you know, you would need to do it in a world that wasn't ass raped by a giant alien. Because after something like that? Racism among humans seems incredibly small.

I couldn't bring myself to watch it. Do they address the fallout from Rorschach's diary being published? That is the implication of the final panel, after all, that he's about to undo Ozymandias's plan from beyond the grave and send them spiraling back into inevitable nuclear war between the powers. (One reason I never thought any sequel to Watchmen could work; it is almost purely an artifact of its time.)
