Picking a few tweets here:
And of course Bobby goes with the standard "hurr durr James Bond is problematic" shit, lifted directly from Baby's First Film Criticism book. Attitudes like that are why the Daniel Craig Bond films are so dry and boring. James Bond is at its best when it rides the line between silly and serious, able to keep you invested in the stakes of the plot while not dragging you down with mopey gritty realism. I'd rather rewatch a classic like Goldfinger than revisit a snoozefest like Spectre.
Point being, Blobbo should really just stick to his capeshit and giant monsters, because films with any amount of subtlety or nuance are completely lost on him. How this asshole actually makes a living off of his garbage takes is beyond me.
As others have said, it's fucking hilarious that Bobby not only pretends that he totally owned Ted Cruz ever (Ted would be fully justified in throwing Bob's typical "who are you again?" one-liner back at him), but that Ted is ever "flailing around." I'm also doing my best to try to figure out what Bobby means by "fighting on his (Bob's) terms." Either he thinks that it's actually the Right who thinks people are a disease (which is moronic), or he's saying that he's already beaten Ted to the punch on misanthropy, in which case...way to prove his point, fatso.
First off, that troon (I'm assuming based on the name and pronouns) has made some lousy choices. None of those movies actually portray "toxic masculinity" (fuck that term seriously) in a positive light. Fight Club has the protagonist reject Tyler Durden's nihilist philosophy in the end, but that philosophy was in response to typical anxieties of the period, when Gen X was hitting adulthood and finding themselves aimless and in search of something to believe in. Clerks is just a movie about a group of schlubs that you follow around through their day; for the life of me, I can't understand how anyone could find it "toxic." And if you seriously think that American Psycho is portraying Patrick Bateman as anything other than a madman, you're clearly missing the point.Bobby avails his expertise to someone who need examples of toxic masculinity:

On a side note, I've also seen "Denzel's new movie," The Little Things, and I'm not surprised that Bobby goes with just a flat "it sucks" (also doesn't even fucking name the damn thing). The general critical consensus that Bobby would never contradict is that it's a standard "find the serial killer" movie and there's nothing more to it than that, but he and they definitely missed the point. Without spoiling it, it's more about Denzel's character working through the mistakes of his past and, if not regaining what he's lost, at least coming to terms with his demons. I'm not gonna say it's a 10/10 or anything, but it's a well made character study buoyed by great performances (Denzel and Jared Leto in particular, although Rami Malek does a good job as well).
