He shared a tweet stating that each review should mention how “toxic” the online campaign was that led to the release of the Snyder cut. I don’t know specifically what grievances Bob is pointing to, but I imagine that they are mostly limited to mean tweets and completely irrelevant to the issue of reviewing the movie. He’s just upset that a group that he deems vermin has gotten what they want, so he just wants to point at them and call them babies. If it had turned out that James Gunn was fired from Guardians 3 for being a pedophile, he’d be more upset that it would be seen as a victory for a right wing group.

It's an irrelevant teen character who put on a costume in an anniversary issue and not Steve Rogers as some headlines frame it as. There's nothing saying this character's going to be replacing him as the main character and it's certainly not a reboot. If you'd want to be bothered by anything, it should probably be clickbait headlines causing unnecessary controversy followed by people complaining about controversy they fanned the flames of.

At this point in the lifespan of the current Western comic book industry, I can't bring myself to get mad because this amounts to a pathetic death rattle. One last virtue signal to get the woke culture warriors to actually spend money in the spaces that they cannibalize. Fat chance.
But back in 2014 this would be another entry in a vein of characters that I think got inspired by Miles Morales, blatant 1-to-1 woke foils for popular established characters dressed up as blatant strawmen. If he wouldn't have gotten his own rebooted-every-six-months-because-nobody-buys-it comic book, he'd be tagging along in Cap's books to tell him how terrible and useless he is, or both. Miles Morales being genuinely popular spun into Iron Heart, Nu-Hawkeye, a whole slew of zoomer themed X-men groups, an entire wing of Marvel content turned into a personal dress down of your favorite characters.
Centering this kind of content and pandering to the people who write it is part of what crashed the superhero comic industry. Even as the whole thing is burning around them, they can't give it up. Ten years ago it would have made me livid but now it's just funny. And a little bit sad.

This shit is exactly what I'm talking about. This description fits the McBain movie from the Simpsons to a T, but it describes literally none of the movies there. In addition to what you said about Terminator:
- First Blood doesn't have Rambo actually killing "droves of enemies" but at most three people by mistake. It contains no love interest. The film ends with Rambo having an emotional breakdown and crying because all his friends are dead and he has severe untreated PTSD. His general leads him to a squad car a sobbing mess. He isn't "right about everything" and he doesn't live happily ever after because there are like five sequels and he's a miserable bastard in all of them.
- Predator is easily the most testosterone-engorged film on this list and also the least like anything it describes. Its a movie about big dudes shooting big guns, but they're all different races, and far from slaughtering droves of enemies, they're desperately fighting to survive a single one. A lot of them die horribly in the process, too.
- Die Hard is superficially the closest to what the list describes, but you'd have to be a deaf retard watching without subtitles to think that's what happens. McClane doesn't get a hot co-ed as a reward for beating the bad guys, he reunites with his completely unsexualized wife and their children after saving their lives, when up to that point in the film he was estranged from them. The closest he comes to being "right about everything" is how he spends half the film hiding in an air vent begging for police to come help. When it comes to his wife and family, the movie seems to be more on the wife's side in the argument they're having.
The idiot who wrote this piece of shit probably just had a per-existing stereotype in his head and grabbed the most famous movies he could think of as examples without ever actually having watched them. It's like if I assumed this list was written by a porcelain white, emaciated male feminist with a scraggly beard, giant glasses and repressed fantasies of raping women and ended this post with a bunch of pictures of Cracked.com writers.
