I can't find the post right now because the site's still screwy but he has actually said that the stars are funnier, alluding to when naughty language gets censored in TV shows.

Even if Lee was a victim of racism, which I have a hard time buying cause the dude was a major star, how does that excuse him making an asshole to stuntmen and getting into fights. Sure, one can make the argument how in China, there stuntmen put up with far worse shit, but still dude dont be a prick.
Bob believes as long as you can play victim then you can be an asshole no matter what you do. That's probably why he justifies his own terrible actions.

Bob attempting to scold the LAPD by saying they should have just hosed the fireworks down.

From KTLA:
The blast came around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East 27th Street, where police had spent the day seizing a large cache of fireworks from a home. They came across about 40 homemade “coke can-sized” devices with powder and fuses on them, and 200 smaller similar devices. The bomb squad determined them to be “very volatile.” “That’s why it was decided to really blow that stuff up here in place, in a controlled manner,” LAPD Lt. Raul Jovel said Thursday during a news briefing. The crew loaded what is believed to be less than ten pounds of the destructive material onto a commercial grade semi-truck with an iron chamber with a venting system.

Yeah, so it was basically a cache of IEDs, not some sparklers and roman candles. And all the injuries were minor. But I guess Bob is now an explosives expert on top of his many other hats.

Alright, seeing as I'm a KF newfag, I figured if I'm going to mandatorily dunk on Chipman, it might as well be this tweet.

First off Bob, being who you are, we know you've honed in on this OP because of your latent coomer tendencies and that your knowledge about anime goes no further than "DBZ and probably a handful of Voltron re-runs you saw as a kid". You don't give a shit about anime unless it's some mass-marketed shonen tripe or has approval from the hipster nerd soylent circle you desperately want to be in, but can't.

Secondly, "my Japanese is so-so"? Go piss up a rope you mono-linguistic uncultured dick tree, no one buys that for a minute. "So-so" or average Japanese is being fluent in shit like writing/understanding Hiragana and Katakana, but still needing work in comprehending actual Kanji. Or knowing how to speak basic sentences with someone you consider an acquaintance, but not well enough that you sound like a native speaker to someone you've just met or has higher seniority than you do (like a boss/manager/supervisor, but we all know how well Blobby does with those considering his employment history). "So-so Japanese" is not hearing a few loan words or Engrish and thinking you get the whole gist of what's said.

Thirdly, and this something I've thought about recently concerning the Blob's tweets, but it's this constant need to comment on *something* without actually saying anything. It's hard to articulate, but when Bob isn't advocating for the Euthanasia of Unevolved Red State Cattle for the Benefit of the Superior Future, he always has these wet farts of a tweet that try to sound like he's making a witty or clever comment about some nerdy niche bullshit he thinks he knows about, but always "ends up as a question like his tweet went from a statement to a question that doesn't really have an answer???". If you peruse through the thread you see Bob doing this about as much as his political frothing at the mouth. and it's just as infuriating as his politics sperging because it's emblematic of his Twatter addiction and how vacuous of a person he is. He just has to let his brain spew out whatever bullshit he thinks of and it just has to be publicly stated despite ultimately saying and meaning nothing.

I don't know, but I find it annoying when people like Bob can't hold their tongue and let their brain farts just privately dissipate in their head instead of spewing them out nonchalantly. It's kind of a key identifier in how genuinely stupid someone is, and Bob embodies it.
Bob's just a stupid fat faggot that uses Google Translate to pretend he's worldly because he can't just win all the time, he can't just have his enemies destroyed, but he must also know everything because of his crippling insecurity over his low IQ.

Back in 1995 or so, there was a crossover with Jon Lovitz's The Critic. And even though Lovitz had been on the show before, and even though both shows shared a few writers, and even though The Critic was a pretty damn good show on its own, Matt Groening was still so pissed about the compromise of artistic integrity that he took his name off the credits, for that episode alone.

I guess selling your soul to Disney soothes all ills.
The Critic got cancelled before it could fully blossom into something amazing.

The Simpsons got renewed so many times beyond its best-by date, you can practically see the show's flesh and musculature peeling off its skeleton.

I don't think Moviebob ever watched the Twilight Zone episode "The Obsolete Man", because Moviebob is a perfect encapsulation of Rod Serling's words when the episode ends: Moviebob is "obsolete [...] so is the State, the entity he [worships]. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: When it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. [...] Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man... that state is obsolete."

The discussion naturally leads to Bobby's favorite subject: Eugenics.

Moviebob: "Eugenics? Yes, pelase!"

As we see with Hilary in 2021, Bob has a emotional attachment to the MCU. So if and when it gets shit canned for good, he’ll be as traumatized as he was when Trump crushed Hilary in 2016.
Anything that pisses Moviebob off is generally a good thing in my book!

E-X-actly! According to Bob, there are no bad tactics.

Noah Hawley is going to turn Alien into an allegory of class warfare (Vanity Fair article archived). Bobby thinks worker exploitation is a feature of the franchise all along.

No one is going to boycott Fap Widow; sex objects are exactly what the audience expect and get. Bobby knows when he compared the film to Viagra and his pathetic simping for Rachel Weisz for the last few days. As for Stinkface Larson, apparently her demotion to just one of The Marvels is not a clear enough message for her moronic fans.

I hope Bob's brain just shit itself like mine did trying to understand the logic behind what he said. His head missed/misread that by miles. If not, what a freaking psued.

I'm not so sure. I haven't watched WWE in 15 years, but I hear that Kevin Nash is a giant Fag Hag. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that guys like Cena, Brian, Punk etc were as well.
CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are openly liberal. Though CM Punk I know has used homophobic slurs in the past. I don't really know what Cena genuinely believes in since so much of the things he does comes off as fake and pandering.

Let's go through this bit by bit, because unlike the Dread Diabeeto, he of the Frictionless mind, I'm a loser who genuinely loves these films and have actually watched them.

1. Bob misrepresents via not actually watching the films. WeyYu did not send the crew of the Nostramo, Sulaco, AND a retrieval team to Fury 161 to get killed by the monster. They did it to capture the fucking things. Out of those films, only the Nostromo crew had no clue on the beast, as the Colonial Marines did have Ripley's reports, and they also had them for Alien3. Also the Prisoners on the planet had Ripley herself as an advisor. I'm not including Resurrection since that was a government project, but Bob probably is too stupid to catch that the Company was eaten by Walmart in that one.
2. The first movie effectively a slasher movie merged with a monster movie. The class elements in 1 are the only time it really gets brought up. Wanna know why? Because Ridley Scott's English. Brits are still autistic about class structure. Cameron didn't have that, but had corporate greed. Fincher had faith as an element, which also was reflected in the comics at the time, as religion is hilariously a big thing in the franchise. I guess Bobby never read those scawy comics tho.
3. Alien wasn't fucking based on Nostramo; that's just the book that they took the name from. It was a Dave O'Bannon schlock film that was created from a WW2 script he made about gremlins possessing and fucking with an airplane and then changed to sci-fi. It was then elevated via team effort, much to O'Bannon's initial dislike for it. Fuck off you smoothbrained blue curtain analyzing crayon eaters.
4. Bob of course desperately ignores the big message: humans are in a way worse than actual monsters, and fuck corporations. This is because Bob wants to believe he's a perfect being, and corporations are his pantheon.
5. Ripley being right proves this dumb bastard only knows the series because he watched blind reactions and looked at fan proceedures and he just parroted them. This was more a thing in Aliens, which by the way was much more anti-corporation, about the concept of overcoming trauma, motherhood, and slight Vietnam nods by how the group of Marines were structured.

I only wanted to do this because you really need to get an idea of how fake this fat stupid alcoholic is with everything he touches.

I hope Bob's brain just shit itself like mine did trying to understand the logic behind what he said. His head missed/misread that by miles. If not, what a freaking psued.
It's this goofy bait-and-switch notion of "politics in media (movies, books, TV, etc)" which fails to distinguish between political themes that are inherent in stories whenever government or social conflict is at issue, and shoehorning in "But Muh Representashun" and stuff like that. Even Stan Lee knew not to beat people over the head with preachy, overt political sperging in a comic book. Nobody likes being preached to (except maybe the IngSoc JusChoir), so being subtle about politics in media is a far more successful approach.

Bob's so smoothbrained that "HURR DURR IT'S ALL POLITICS" but at the same time "But if it's Universal it can't be Political!" which is so galaxy brained it's nonsensical. Like, does he mean that political themes can't be Universal if a political stance he disagrees with exists? If he has truly confused the concept of "Political themes in general that go into most if not all stories, regardless of Red vs Blue or whatever" with "Right Side of History Political Themes which, duh, are NOT universal because Orange Man Bad and Maga CHUDs exist, friendo!", he's beyond rock and hammer sack stupid.

I've said stuff to this effect many times before, but it really amazes me that Diabeeto manages to take every story about the perils of big corporations, corrupt politicians and/or the horrors of war and take away the idea that the story is supporting his worldview that big corporations and the government should be given unlimited power, poor people should be culled like rats and war is a perfectly valid solution to problems.

MCU bullshit (Screen Rant article)
MCUBullshit.png
And I thought Bob was genre savvy, being a "cultural critic" and all. Death is less of an inconvenience than the common cold in comic books as the status quo is god so Peter, Wanda, and Stephen will return eventually because some things are immutable. It's not the first time some of them died as Peter "died" when Otto Octavius switched bodies with him in Superior Spider-Man. I don't remember if Wanda ever died, but Stephen Strange has lost the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme to have Brother Voodoo take it in his place. What Bob fails to understand is that part of what makes certain characters iconic is that they are timeless and archetypal. Peter Parker will always be Spider-Man. Steve Rogers will always be Captain America. Clark Kent will always be Superman. Bruce Wayne will always be Batman. It only gets murky when bring up the Flash, Green Lantern, and other lower tier characters as there was a generational component to them since 1956 though I would argue that Barry Allen and Hal Jordan were the most iconic.

"B-B-But 'Into The Spider-Verse'!" Bob may sputter, but I would argue that it was a blip. Another version of Peter played the role of Miles' mentor and had his own character arc. I doubt that the film would've had as much of an impact had there not been Peter B. Parker. Furthermore, Miles is not replacing 616-Peter in the comics as he did 1610-Peter. No, Ben Reilly--who briefly replaced Peter in 1996--is going to be Peter's replacement in the upcoming Spider-Man Beyond storyline. Wanda is not going to remain dead as Marvel will want to keep brand synergy in the wake of Wandavision and the upcoming Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Same with Stephen. The fatal flaw in Bob's logic is that fans will rush to devour more product because that is his sole reason for existence.

What truly galls me is that Bob has no idea of how dire the situation is for the American comic book industry. Mark Millar (rightly) observed that the publishers are chasing a phantom audience on Twitter and ignoring 95% of their audience who are leaving in droves. We, the true comic fans and not pretenders like Bob, are jaded bastards and savvy enough to recognize that Marvel and DC are recycling stories from 10-20 years ago, if not longer. In the case of the former, we know that the House of Ideas is a shambling shell of itself that takes most of its cues from the MCU rather than the other way around. I suspect the smarter fans will jump ship now that Phase 4 is looking to resemble the disaster that was All-New, All-Different Marvel from 2016.

TL;DR Bob has no idea of what he's talking about, as always.
