Roald Dahl's plethora of books was endemic to the 80s so I'm not surprised Bob has read maybe a couple of them. The Twits, James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr. Fox, things like that.
Now, where there are similarities between Harry Potter and some of the Dahl books (but weak links at best), is child mistreatment with the child eventually getting the upper hand/the mistreaters getting their comeuppance. However, the formula is completely different. In James and the Giant Peach, for instance, James' horrible aunts get killed off by the rolling giant peach fairly early on. However in Harry Potter, the Dursleys don't really learn their lesson at all, except Dudley in the Deathly Hallows book (not the movie, sadly), which is the end of the series. They get a hair of comeuppance every now and then, but nothing like in a Dahl book. Claiming/retweeting the theory that JK Rowling was trying to ape Dahl's style falls flat, having read both the Harry Potter books and a ton of the Dahl books. Of course, Voldemort dies in the end, but a villain dying at the end of the story is hardly a common Dahl book trait. Hell, in Fantastic Mr. Fox, the villains don't die at all. I'm not memeing or just trying to insult him for once: Bob looks dead behind the eyes. I was going to compare him to Hugo Weaving smiling in The Matrix but even he maintains a manic glow in his eyes despite portraying an emotionless robot.
I used to play a dumb game with my friend where we'd try to smile without moving the rest of our face because it looks really creepy, but apparently that's just Bob's default state.
Not just didn't have a problem with it, I'm sure this troon was one of the many millennials who credited Rowling with their entire childhood and made everything about Harry Potter.

Also, the USSC ruled that they had greatly overstepped their power vis-a-vis the moratorium, and the only reason they didn't rule against them was it's imminent expiry would make it moot.
