Because Disney sure as fuck doesn't want to get stuck with another Star Wars, a IP that has soured so much, that now people just don't want anything to do with it. I'm sure they are still making a buck with Darth Vader lampshades and shit like that, but I don't see how they are going to bring it back to the big movie market again...

Something like 1,500 pages ago someone linked one of Bob's early GameOverthinker videos in which, to the best of my recollection, he described a "dream" where he was a kid again and everything was good and his dog was alive and Shigiro Miamoto was there to save his childhood. All of this leading up to explain why Nintendo is great. Toys-R-Us coming back, even as a side show in Macy's means that Bob can remember that comfy time when he had no responsibility, no taxes to pay, no self documentation of every stupid thing he's done. This isn't about saving anything or anyone. This is about escapism and that nefarious narcotic nostalgia for a man stuck in arrested development.
