Definitely. The main reason I even mentioned it is that Peliculas Roberto should know the difference between a blockbuster and a sleeper hit. Blockbusters since the 80's have come with huge marketing and merchandising pushes. They're planned to be huge successes. Sleeper hits are usually midbudget films that have modest expectations but are competently made that go on to much more success than planned.

A lot of euphoric-types feel like that to me too, where their hatred for religion always seems to stem from resentment of being made to go to church on Sundays, transferring their daddy issues to, paraphrasing Bobbo, "sky-daddy issues."

With regards to Bob, it's abundantly clear that he has a long-unresolved case of the daddy issues. I've never seen him complaining about his past with his mother, but he's frequently brought up how his dad never understood his chosen career path, even to his death bed. He tries to couch this with other posts where he talks about how he admires his dad, but it's pretty obvious that it's a cover. And as mentioned, his performative atheism assuredly stems from this as well.

In Bobby's binary mind, if someone can't see how you're clearly in the right, then you should just crush them underfoot. He gets off on any piece of media where the protagonist destroys their parents or parental figures because that's what he really wanted to do to his own dad, to rub in his face how much of a success he is. Of course, now that Chipman Senior has shuffled off this mortal coil, he can only live vicariously through the media he consooms, much like how he views the successes of those he admires as his own.

To sum up, Bobby is more or less saying that one of the reasons the MCU has done so well is because all Millennials/Zoomers have the same daddy issues he does. It's a viewpoint born of extreme projection and deserving of mockery.

I don't like defending Liefield but he's right Blade wasn't a blockbuster hell neither was Batman Begins but it was sucessful enough to get a sequel now Batman 1989 was a blockbuster and so was Dark Knight and even Dark Knight Rises.

Also most people in 1998 had no god damn clue Blade was a comic book character Marvel's name wasn't plastered all over the film like it would be today and Blade himself was a minor horror character from the 70's who got his biggest exposure being on the 90's Spider-Man the Animated Series.

Marvel's 1st Blockbusters was X-Men and 2 years later the even bigger hit of Raimi's Spider-Man which given how much Film Robert loves to jerk off to Raimi you'd think he point out.
