It's not blackmail by definition, it's his dad threatening (and actually going through) with deleting Parlo's channel because his demands (which we don't know) weren't met.

I think it's more extortion than blackmail. Blackmail would involve threatening to reveal damning or embarrassing information, whereas extortion is a more broad "do X or else I do Y," such as "answer the phone or else I delete your primary Youtube account." This children's entertainer seems to be construing leveraging anything against you in order to manipulate your behaviors to be blackmail.

I have no idea how he allowed this to happen. You can log out of your account on other devices and setup a secure password. Unless his father outright stole devices which were unlocked and logged into his accounts, then I don't see how he'd end up helpless in this situation if he took the proper precautions. Obviously, his father still doesn't have a right to do any of this, but accountability goes both ways here.

If this "Parlo" is a minor then his father has every right to regulate his internet usage however he sees fit.

If he isn't then his father never should have had access to this accounts in the first place, so the guy is a retard and gets what he deserves for being such. Letting someone else when you are an adult have full access to your accounts is just asking for trouble.

Given the above posts, can you blame his father, even if he is an adult, for being disgusted and flipping out that his son is apparently some kind of deviant freak?
