For some reason, I bear no surprise upon such news at all. I don't even know anything about the owner yet the moment I saw the post I went, "Of course they are." I'm just that numb to Roblox developers being ousted for doing abhorrent or degenerate things man.

Oh that's a no-brainer. A large portion of the neo-classic practitioners weren't so much as a twinkle in either of their parent's eyes during the "classic" Roblox era—I'm talking "born in 2011, pretending to be 2011" levels of disconnect here.

And it's the same thing that propels other "internet-core" aesthetics: They weren't there to learn the ins-and-outs of imageboards, or what fandom etiquette used to be, or what people really thought about scene kids. Even with the power to dig through archives and get a clue, all they do is take away the "prettiest" bits and sterilize them for their own use, which leaves us with coon-tailed overloaded neon abominations and maybe some surface-level red board edge for the spiciest ones. In Roblox's case, none of these people would survive as soon as they ran into the original accessory limit.
