You can just watch RoboCop 1 and call it a day if you don't have much free time. While RoboCop 2 and 3 are mediocre at best, some of actions are still memorable if you wish to give them a chance. There's also cartoon series (haven't watch it yet) and remake version (somehow worse than 2 and 3) in case you don't know.

Not this shit again. I've never said Robocop 2 is better or worse than the first. In relation to a theme for movie night “sequels better than the originals", I made a post saying the theme was hard if you are avoiding the ones everyone say.

You then don't read my post and reply to my comment, with a list of the ones everyone says + Robocop 2, and I made a joke on your inability to read saying if you removed Robocop 2 you have made a list everyone else would have. But you took that as me saying Robocop 2 is shit because you can’t read a full line.


No wonder people thought you were underage with your lack of reading comprehension.

Robocop 2 has, in its favor that it's neither the 1994 TV series produced directly for syndication (made more general audience friendly and with "humor" that makes Robocop 3's comedy bits look like grand satire in comparison, and the 2001 mini-series (which also had the bacony stench of Canada all over it) where sure, people were getting their hands shot off and such, but it still looked cheap and their big idea was to pit Robocop against another Robocop who'd been his old partner and was built to look just like the old Robocop except he was black...and carried TWO Auto-9s.

Look at it this guy: They made the black guy the naive dude that gets sweet talked by the corrupt OCP manager that comes around to Robocop side over the course of the game.

Even back in the 70/80 this would be a proto-woke character that learns to shoot dicks, ask questions never over the course of the movie.

Dude it's Detroit, there's gonna be a black guy at some point.

Plus he's not a total moron. He only becomes one in the ending if Robo neglects him, at which point he goes full nigger.

I get where you're coming from, it initially looks bad. But at no point does he overshadow either Robo or Lewis. He's about equal in importance to Pickles.

I actually kind of like the rookie. Robo's stuck with him, so I've gone the route of 'Well, let's see if we can do something useful with him.'

The weakest part of the game for me thus far has been trundling around trying to find all the Serve and Protect violations on the street. Hey, I want all the bonus XP I can scrounge, but damn I feel like I'm walking in circles.

There also doesn't seem to be a lot of point to using alternate weapons once you start finding chips and circuit boards to upgrade the Auto-9, save for sniper rifles or grenade launchers. Don't skimp on the skills either; slow-motion, shield, or shockwave are all good tools.
