Can someone put up the list of states with trigger laws again so we can cross reference hour many of these chimp outs are actually in places where it might matter?

I know the media wouldn't draw the comparison accurately, but I remember 2020 as the orange man said he would leave reinforcements on standby and only bring them in if and when the states asked for help. That showed that he was willing to help but he wasn't willing to force his way in uninvited.

More specifically I remember a raging TDS man admitting ok maybe the state should accept Trump's offer, and thinking pfft I know that if the state does then the TDS man will TDS all over the place again.

If Biden does the exact same thing as Trump and he ultimately does nothing, that's on the Governors.

They didn't ""effectively use a religious interpretation to define life as beginning at birth", they said that SCotUS doesn't have the power to claim that due process is involved in abortion, and that states have to legislate the matter, instead of RvW constantly being challenged because it was a piss poor precedent.

I don't agree with abortion being functionally impossible to get, but I do agree with RBG that RvW was a terrible way to railroad abortion availability.

Cannot believe that I agree with her.

It is fun to see Dems wising up to the long neo-lib con thanks to this event. I honestly have no real stakes in the debate, but there is certainly something to be said that the Dems that want these rights keep voting in grifters. Honestly, if a Dem wants to make it legal across the states through getting a bill passed, great, but you know the party is too pussy to do it. They have sat on this egg for 50 years, it’s about time they have to get off their ass if they want to actually make this a thing.

Otherwise, most chirping about it have little to no knowledge on what the overturning actually does, and that they live in safe states. Hell, I remember someone mentioning that they could theoretically expand the laws in favor in blue states, as scary as that may be.

Honestly, I would look at the positive of this being an event that will place pressure on Dems to actually change their shit, but most likely it will just be a Republican bad event or the newest story to be forgotten in favor of next week’s outrage.

I think I am more in agreement with how the Dems did absolutely nothing about the issue for years. She was right in calling them out on that. Otherwise, yeah, it was just pointless screaming into a void.
