This thread is dedicated to those three video game mods and their communities, not roleplaying as a whole.

Why these three specifically? They are just the most popular ones that streamers and casual gamers gravitate to. The playerbases, rules, vocabulary etc are often interchangeable and if you've played one then you've played all three.
Roleplaying itself is pretty cringe, but what's interesting are the dramas and the insane people. Here's what you can expect:
- trannies walking around in the wild west,
- people AFK'ing on a porch for hours then getting mad the second you step on it,
- gangs of simps killing people for looking wrong at a m'lady,
- numerous e-gangsters with chirps in the background,
- power-tripping nerds with a fake deep voice,
- monetization schemes on par with gacha slop,
- e-marriages with fake pregnancies like it's Second Life,
and more insanity you could never imagine.

A few good channels showcasing it all:
big cheef - FiveM focused. He's a wigger, but a pretty funny one.

zimery - Mixed. Lazy presentation, but isn't just a monotone and mumbling retard like most who copy him.

Sterling - RedM focused. Often exposes the power-tripping faggotry.

I am not recommending Bub Games because that fag constantly virtue signals about racism or other leftie issues in his videos.

I feel like this years highlight from the RP community has to be this landwhale flipping out on her mom because her rp workmates were 'punched in' while playing squid game instead of standing in a digital hospital for hours. Her rage gets to the point that her and her mom get into a screaming match and eventually she gets slapped in the face

RedM and FiveM seem to attract the most autistic discord dwellers just looking for a safe space for their power fantasy. "With due respect I'm a higher up, if you want to play games then you can punch out and play games" - because GTA is real life.

That reminded me of the video on California State RP:
This is more strict than many real life jobs and you do it for FREE. Clock in daily hours doing chores, ask for free days from playing a game oh and you will be stalked then banned if they deem you not loyal enough.

So there is/was a FiveM server called KNG Estate, similarly to the GrandRP which is an Indian P2W cashgrab, this one is Brazilian.

It keeps getting blacklisted by FiveM for breaking ToS (more on it later) and they just keep ban evading to not lose the cash cow.

A youtuber called Rerept has decided to make a few expose videos on them. I watched those, but a lot of it is just sperging about power-tripping, cliques or muh racism. I've picked out the more interesting parts below. He overreacts a lot and seems to put too much faith into random people feeding him info, so take it all with a grain of salt.

Here's the interesting accusations:
- the owner has been taking direct payments to his bank accounts instead of through ToS-mandated payment processor called Tebex,
- the owner's bank account was supposedly under investigation for fraud,
- they DDOS players which they deem disruptive (aka criticizing them at all),
- the staff gets a 2% cut of any transaction by the players,

Again, take these with a grain of salt. This guy isn't very bright and he was fed the info by randoms on Discord or in Youtube comments.

One of the funniest and best Gmod channels has got to be the one that focused on "illegally" duplicating money and breaking the economy of the pay to win servers. In addition to highlighting exploits and cheats. Very educational

Gmod is a lot more interesting to me because of all the crazy ass custom game modes and maps held down by rampant stupidity.

Dead thread, I know, but I figure this would be a good place to mention World of Warcraft RP. The thing about GTA/Gmod RP is that while there's often drama, it's mostly nigger drama or admin drama. WoW RP drama, by nature of it being mostly dominated by women, is about ten times as toxic and ten times full of bestiality, pedophilia, rape, and incest. The biggest source of drama is Wyrmguardsecrets, a tumblr blog where people anonymously submit gossip, allegations, etc. about other RPers. The only rule is you can't state anyone's name directly, only a nickname or description, which makes it a bit hard to figure out who's who.

I don't have a comprehensive glossary, but I know that "Crawdad Cardinal" is (IC) "Niklos Adamant." Some of the other info I've gathered is that his player is a woman, his player doesn't care about someone RPing raping children, and his player is a fujoshi.

As someone who's unironically hung out in RedM and FiveM whitelisted servers for years, 99% of people that do Rockstar RP are fucking maniacs.
I swear to you, you're more likely to be molested by random wigger #4,000,000 on any given FiveM or RedM server than Killfuck Rapesword on a Conan Exiles ERP server.

You are not prepared for PZ rp servers then. Its all trannies and kids, so it always devolves into degens into grooming. ERP is rampant and the amount of drama on these servers probably merits its own community watch thread tbh.

A YouTuber known as capit0l made videos on GMod Nazi RP and recently deleted his YouTube channel. He had a video published of a higher-up on a Nazi GMod server beating his wife on the mic. He did some good deeds, exposing that shitty server, but ended up being controlled opposition for another Nazi LARP server.
