I'm not sure whether the the red one just made the pink one cry because of hurtful words, or if it's because the red one is having really angry forceful sex with the pink one.

I looked it up. It's the "spank" emoticon. I guess whoever made that stamp wanted to use the meanest emoticon she could find (willing to bet her "rude" "haters" are just people trying to give constructive criticism for horrible art or just some behind the scenes drama).

Sadly, that's how it is on art sites like DeviantART. It's asspat haven, and heaven forbid someone wants to try and help an artist improve by saying what they could do better.

Some guy once flipped his shit on me when I said his newest picture wasn't very creative (because he took the MSPaint picture he created, oh, the day before, and added a couple of generic music notes and called it "singing") and that he ought to put the effort into creating a new picture that actually looks like his character is singing. He screamed at me for critiquing the picture, deleted it, and made a journal saying about how I'm a great big meanie for not patting his lazy ass.

The most I've had happen to me in the manner of critiquing work is being yelled at before being blocked. I'm never mean or rude when I critique, either, but some people get so damn offended -- it's ridiculous. Though, it is pretty funny when those same people go onto Conceptart.org to try and get asspats there. Since that site has a lot of professional artists who do art for a living, they are very critical. I used to look through their forums sometimes to find the occasional gem of an artist who would get super defensive of their artwork getting critiqued. A lot of the time, they came from DeviantART.

I just finished rereading the Yu-Gi-Oh manga and what gets me the most is that she isn't in love with an actual person. The object of her affections is essentially a defense mechanism created by this one kid because he was reeeeeaaaally messed up after living his whole life in the darkness underground and then having this huge-ass pictogram carved into his back.

Essentially she's in love with the emotion of "KILL EVERYTHING BECAUSE I HATE THE WORLD."
