I did a search for this topic, but didn't find it. I am getting back on the machine and trying to do around 50km a week. I have 21km so far. Curious if there are other rowers/ergers out there.
 
It actually is quite nice. I have done 8km today and getting 2km more in a bit. It is really a total body exercise. You need your legs first, core second, and arms third. You need weight training to supplement, particularly in the legs/glutes. I do squats and Romanian deadlifts.
