They would bury this cancel attempt ASAP like they did for Factorio if they weren't fucking morons (good luck tard wrangling the mob through). Cancel culture works by painting yourselves as "normal people" and your targets extremists, downplaying your mean/violent tactics, presenting the appearance of invulnerability and inevitability, and doing the whole thing so fast that by the time anyone notices anything fishy the narrative has settled and moved on, and the target is destabilized past a point of no return (fired, etc).

This campaign has made it very clear exactly that troon power begins and ends with powermod infested subreddits and gaming journos (which isn't nothing -- they've managed to hurt some people), shows them as the culture war extremists, and the more they drag it out the more damage it's going to do to their cause. I'm optimistic that this has revealed just how extreme Reddit has become to more of their users, getting banned over nothing with this absurd glee is completely nonsensical if you're not familiar with this sort of thing.

I'm not under any delusions this will slow/stop the trans/gay agenda as a whole (Though the NYT having its "come to Hitler" moment and then doubling down was encouraging); but I do think it's a rout for their keyboard warriors auxiliaries, and the more they keep digging the more people it alienates.
