A popular (1.66M subs) leftist trans youtuber ContraPoints (who has a thread) posted a two-hour-long video comparing JKR to Anita Bryant, discussing the efficacy of debate as an activist tactic, and arguing that the anti-trans movement that was started by lesbian trans-exclusionary feminists has inevitably become a right-wing one.
The video begins with talking about Anita Bryant, an anti-gay activist of the 1970s who lost her career. It then talks about a podcast ContraPoints was interviewed for, The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling, hosted by Megan Phelps-Roper, a former Westboro Baptist Church member.
ContraPoints discusses whether JKR is transphobic and concludes that those who think she is not do not believe transphobia exists at all because they do not believe transgenders exist, not in the capacity transgenders themselves assert they are.
After that, ContraPoints discusses the efficacy of debate as an activist tactic, concludes that it is scarcely useful, discusses how activist movements have historically achieved their goals by being threatening and disruptive, and points out how anti-trans movement likewise employs violent rhetoric on social media.
The video ends with speculations on what drives women to participate in the anti-trans movement, especially as ContraPoints sees it as having evolved from one started by trans-exclusionary lesbian feminists into a right-wing one; comparisons of Posie Parker to Phyllis Schlafly and ample quoting of Andrea Dworkin included. He originally only agreed to participate in the podcast because he thought it was gonna be an epic takedown of JKR, right? That everyone would fall to their knees and kiss his feet because of his superior intellect? And since it didn't go this way, he now had to drop everything to record a 2 hour masturbatory video to show everyone he is really REALLY right and JKR is totally a transphobe, despite there not being a single shred of evidence. (Except for "she wants to ask questions, and asking questions is a HATE CRIME".)

Contra has a real chip on his shoulder when it comes to debates. He famously lost a debate to Blaire White in 2017, and never seems to have recovered from it.
Like so many leftists, Contra is persuasive when he can speak uninterrupted with a large amount of production value and (especially in Contra's case) strawman characters of his opponents. In at least two of his videos that I can recall, he's done storylines about which an Obvious Bigot outsmarts a Purehearted Activist in a public debate, and the injustice of it all.
He portrays the Activist as flawed in other ways, and occasionally lets the Bigot make a good point, but don't mistake that for actual nuance in his position.
AKA: saying the quiet part loud. We can't actually win in a fair fight of Our Ideology vs Theirs, so we need to fight dirty.

Yes. There's a thread on it, but I don't think anyone made it to the end of the book, because it really stinks.
Rowling is about to make another group of young actors rich and famous beyond their wildest dreams, while "Gretchen" is about to keep masturbating over his fantasies of killing women, until he finally 41-percents. Feels right, somehow.
