Edit: He and his lawyers probably don't want his DNA results to get under discovery. It's easier to get a favorable judgement for emotional damages in a leftist court than reputational damages based on your own wrongdoing. Defamation and libel are too easy to judo in this case. I don't know about how precedent works in crouton courts, but they don't want to establish any for DSD men in womens' sports. They do however want one for harassment, particularly one they can easily reuse in the future.

There's no discovery. It's not a lawsuit it's a criminal complaint that will go nowhere for many reasons, most notably that France doesn't have jurisdiction to prosecute citizens of other nations that are not even within their borders.

The prosecutor that received this complaint will be dropping it in a file drawer or a garbage can promptly.

Genetic advantages will always have an impact on sports performance. The literal only reason women’s sports are a separate category is so that the genetic advantage of the Y chromosome is not a factor in the competition.
 
Before this shitshow started, I read on wikipedia of all places that the guy was banned for having XY chromosomes from some other boxing matches. I'm not even gonna bother going back to wikipedia for that as I'm sure it has been memory holed by now. It's insanely alarming how they try to rewrite reality and try to force us all to play along. I mean this is not exactly news, but it's always shocking anew when you are confronted by it. I guess claiming (under threat of lawsuit) that your athlete is totally female you guys is the new doping. This makes women's competitive sports completely pointless.
