Yeah, I don't recall any instances in the book of him referring to himself as 'diamond', but maybe I missed it/haven't gotten to it yet. Considering how he views himself, though, I wouldn't be surprised if this was him describing himself as diamond-like.

Ouch, must be hard on Philosoposer to have an example of success living so close by when he himself is struggling to find a job. In all likelihood Mr. Brother is paying for all his bills and his wife's as well. Even then Roy won't even add him on Facebook...

Thankfully now that you've relayed his address to us, it should be very simple to find him through a Google search from here on out, considering Kiwi Farms shows up for me on the first page when hitting his name! I'm sure our boy Roy has done nothing wrong and would love to explain his actions at length at a court of law and make his innocence clear in any future silly legal misunderstandings :)

You know, after reading a certain passage, your statement about jealousy is 100% true.
I'm not going to quote anything, but here's what I've learned.

Both of Roy's brothers are college educated and have jobs. This, for me, eliminates any chance of family factors playing into the fact that Roy never finished college. He goes on to mention having a conversation with one of his relatives. Roy tells his relative that he has something big going on (probably his book), but his relative didn't seem to care. Roy seems upset by this and says that this is why he doesn't like staying around relatives for too long.

My guess is that Roy's apparent resentment for his family, whether on a conscious level or not, might be (in part)* due to the fact that his brothers are more successful than him and seem to be getting more positive attention while Roy is ignored for his accomplishments.

Gotta be hell having to live with them now, eh?

On a side note, Roy mentions having a son and a daughter, so I was wrong; he's not a virgin.

I was checking 33rd's documents and it seems that Roy was sued because he failed to pay a thousand dollars on a minimum payment of a total of 7 thousand. Doesn't sound too good for a person who doesn't have, want or is able to get a job.

The interest on that thing is fairly high, something like over a hundred dollars per month even if he was paying the minimum amount required - which he clearly is not, considering he was sued for not paying in time... Yikes! This is probably going to sting a lot once it catches up with him!

I wonder why Roy would need a 7 thousand dollar loan for, considering he presumably lives rent-free and his wife seems to be willing to work while he isn't, so they'd have some influx of cash monthly... right?

I don't think Roy knows how friendship works. Roy, this might come as a shock to you, but friends sometimes drift apart over time, and it's just normal. Also, isn't having company kind of the point of having friends? Does every friend of yours need to be super close to you, Roy?
But I understand Roy, your friend was nothing but a bourgeois... I mean middle-classian.

To be getting an education in it he'd actually have to be learning something.

This isn't his first time drawing attention to his thread when it was in a state of inactivity, and I feel quite confident that it won't be the last. He had clearly read the thread which had even explicitly and directly spelled out the Streisand Effect point to him already, and even then he went forward with the DMCA notice regardless.

He is incapable of learning, not just because of his evident intellectual limitations, but more so because he believes that he is superior to other people and that they only have things to learn from him and not the other way around. Hence his repeated statements of contempt towards education and constant lecturing of other people and presentation of himself as a supposed educator and consultant.
 
This guy's poor kids are probably just dying to be Middleclassian like all their friend's and cousins. When they ask for a gaming console for a birthday they probably get a copy of the book instead.

You know, while I do believe that Roy honestly did have a bit of a breakdown at the Tesla conference, while he might not have meant to assert that he was a "level 2 genious" and that he doesn't (consciously) think of himself that way, I honestly believe it was a freoudian slip.
