Recently a lot of the games that were really popular amongst kids and social outcasts back in the day have gotten remasters (Mermaid Swamp, Mad Father, Witches House, ect.) And while still being overtly edgy and kinda corny I really enjoyed a lot of them. Especially Mermaid Swamp

Are there any that you guys are holding out for? Personally i'd be tickled pink to see Ib in a more updated art style using a different program.

I agree with Ib! I would really enjoy seeing a remake of that game.

Are RPG Horror Maker games still strong? I know of a couple that are not bad but they don't follow the same flavor as late 2000s/early 2010's games. I think it's the change of indie video game horror. Some don't have that edge anymore.

Not anything of recent I can think of, I think they kinda died off around the same time the FNAF series started to blow up and similar kind of games were the big deal. Steam recently had a Yume Nikki inspiration sale so maybe there was something there that I might’ve missed?

As much as I love Ib I’m personally not big on the idea of it getting a revamped look. The pixel art style is great and you don’t see enough of it these days.

I think it could still do both, both of the Sen game remakes still maintain the pixel style, but do things like add more to the environment, and update cg’s/graphics to be more clear.
