Asians are almost lower than whites on the oppression hierarchy, ignoring the whole "stop asian hate" trend going on right now (which a savvy user could leverage against the mods but I doubt any of the RPGnet userbase has the balls to do that). There's probably even more irony if the mod who banned him was white.

I swear either Cessna or Wyzard ran a Gor TTG at one point and used Gor as one of their attacks on how juvenile FATAL is.

Well, I mean... Gor's the bottom of the barrel, but FATAL is what happens when you hit the bottom of the barrel and break out the excavation drill.

Reckon the RPGnet mods would be okay with pointing out the fact that most of this ‘rising wave of anti-Asian violence’ is being perpetrated by African-Americans, not whites? Even if you were to somehow state it in some way that made their violence whitey’s fault?

I think at this point, even John Norman is just cranking out the Gor books for the paycheck and just goes whole ham with it since he knows he's gonna get money either way.

That could explain the massive drop in quality and how the early books from the 60's and 70's were simply a kinda smutty John Carter knock-off before degenerating into fucked up literal slave porn.

You saw a similar thing with Earth's Children where it began as a series of prehistoric novels with erotic elements before devolving into literal caveman porn because Jean M. Auel got a full contract.

I’ve heard that before, but I have trouble believing it. It strikes me as similar to the kind of cope people use about how any mass murderer must be crazy, because no sane person could do that, when the reality is that often they’re just misanthropes.

I feel like on Kiwifarms, especially, we have plenty of people who would unironically make something like Fatal - the game is the kind of cross section of autism, self-fetishization, and exhibitionism that Russell Greer could totally write if he wasn’t already obsessed with real world people.

I don't believe it's just a parody because the "rules" are intensely autistic and minutely developed. However, it does read like something made by someone autistic even to exist in the society of RPGs because anyone who tried to playtest this lunacy (which we actually did here twice) would realize it's completely unplayable.

Keep in mind that FATAL came in two flavors. The 'first edition', 'Fantasy Adventure To Adult Lechery' was notorious for not only being a broken mess and straight up horrifyingly misogynistic to boot (and no, I don't mean SJW misogyny; I honestly think Byron Hall has some issues), but also included some absolutely amazing examples of full on racism (and not BLM-wanking racism):
35. Jewy Jewbacca, of: Whosoever dons this armor will acquire a nose twice the size and a manhood half the size. Further, the wearer will become extremely greedy and fight to the death for one silver piece. Finally, the wearer acquires 2 inches of hair all over their body, resulting in halving their Facial Charisma and Bodily Attractiveness. While hairy, the wearer must bathe every 1d6 hours or smell foul. The armor may be removed at any time and the wearer will return to normal.

50. Nigrous Nincompoopery, of: Whosoever dons this armor experiences a loss of 1d100 points from each sub-ability of Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. The ass of the wearer will grow by 50% and be abnormally high. If the wearer is male, then those around him are 80% likely to believe that his manhood has increased, though it has not. The skin of the wearer becomes cursed and dark as night. Disposition turns to UI. Temperament becomes phlegmatic. The eyes of the wearer are visible 3 miles away at night. The wearer will have a body odor for 1d10 feet. On the bright side, the Physical Fitness of the wearer increases by 10%. The armor may be removed at will.

22. Gookums, of: Whosoever dons this armor experiences an increase of 1d20 points of Intelligence in each sub-ability and is reduced to 80% of natural Height. The eyelids of the wearer will swell as though hit with a maul, and Vision is reduced to 25%. Most importantly, the Manhood or Cup Size is reduced to 50%. Strangely, the ass of the wearer will shrink, drop, and droop.

23. Greasians, of: Whosoever wears this armor acquires hair that is greasy and dark, they lose half of their Drive subability, are reduced to 90% of natural Height, are 80% likely to beat their spouse if they have one, and will be magically unemployed for 1d100 days. However, if the wearer plays drums, the wearer gets a bonus of 1d100 to their skill check.

OK, look, I'm no wilting sunflower but what the everliving fuck was that? When FATAL's 'second edition' rolled around, the, uh, 'racial armors' were gone, and the title was 'From Another Time, Another Land'. It was still broken and still misogynistic as fuck, though.

I believe we have identified the only living thing more pathetic than an RPG.net moderator: an RPG.net snitch who reports people to moderators and then giggles as they get assraped with giant red blocks of mod text.

On the other hand this depends on your faith in the honesty of Mr. Sphinx here. I'm sure he'd like people to believe that his rulings are in response to the demands of the userbase but he probably spends every waking moment looking for reasons to ban someone and then jerk himself raw.

Well both kosker and halal food requires the animal to die by severing the jugular vein while keeping the spinal cord intact. And then they drain the blood. But it's the Muslims who are the ones who stun the animals, beforehand.

But thing is, you can opt out of it by refusing to buy the food, in the first place. Yes, it's kind of mainstream, but it's ultimately an exercise in stupidity, considering how both the Muslims and the Jews are an minority.
