Pardon me. I have to laugh my ass off.

He is literally asking for the talking points FAQ and Sphinx banned him. Holy shit. He's not 'repeating' anything!

Ye gods. They really are lunatics there.
Eh, it seems like lunacy, but it actually makes sense. The only permissible "talking points" are ones intended to shut down any discussion, such as "trans women are women, period. I'm not going to debate the existence of trans people, it's not my job to educate you, nazi biggot".

If that poster doesn't get it, he's a liability to the cult. Showing any willingness to debate this stuff is dangerous, because the whole thing is based on blind acceptance and collapses the moment you allow people to start questioning anything.

I remember the forum discussion about the infamous F.A.T.A.L. review, where some idiot complained that Tubgirl image was misogynist because it depicted a woman, and for justice there ought to be a similar image depicting a man. Even that cockmongler MacLennan reacted to it with next time I stumble upon an image that burns out my eyes, I'll make sure to search for more.

Depending on when this happened, MacLennan may not have been a ... er ... cockmongler. That guy's flip from right wing troll to woke cultist is one of the more startling ones on the site, alongside Cessna's.

They made it official. Linking the infraction post because the mod wrote a fucking doctoral thesis to explain the ban.

So much for 'lived experiences' being valid.

There's so much in Sphinx's idiotic screed that could be fisked. I want to draw attention to this bit though:

Your whole post reads like an attempt to reframe right-wing dogwhistles as "just asking questions" in the hope it will pass the standards of acceptable behavior at RPGnet. Anti-CRT hand-wringing is racist FUD. Period. Nobody is teaching critical race theory — an advanced branch of civil rights theory more suited to law and poli-sci students — in public schools. Acknowledging racism is neither critical race theory nor anti-American. Acknowledging the historical failings of the United States is neither critical race theory nor anti-American.

Sphinx is a lying little fuck. This is classic leftist gaslighting -- 'oh, nobody's teaching that' while we keep fucking catching them doing just that. And then it's 'oh well it's not REALLY CRT'.

Acknowledging racism is one thing. But they'd rather blame wypipo for everything rather than try to fix things.

That ban is fucking hilarious. If only the leftist put in half as much effort into actually doing something as they do with arguing online, people wouldn't be shitting on them, as much.
Acknowledging racism is one thing. But they'd rather blame wypipo for everything rather than try to fix things.
He actually ate an ban for pointing this out.

It's always funny because if no one is teaching it, then there's no problem with it being banned is there? Same difference if schools banned bigfoot, right?

It's even funnier because the poster pointed out that that is not the argument being made by people who have issues with it.
these folks are not claiming CRT is taught in classrooms, but that it frames the “how” history in particular is being taught.
Which is what's being done. And Sphinx admits it is what's being done "but that's a good thing!"

That Qadira book is a fucking slog, boring as fuck, and makes what could have been something interesting into "Desert Kingdom 252".

And bullshit she ripped anything from Dune, if she did, it was almost unrecognizable.

If she was going to fix shit, the first thing to fix would have been the stupidity regarding Kalesh.

Instead, the book reads like stereo instructions.

A user sees the fnords. They pointed out that a thread about whether or not dwarves in RPGs were an offensive caricature wasn't about actually answering the question, but instead an invitation to join in a circlejerk about how RPGNet is home to the moral elite. Naturally, that has to be nipped in the bud.

Wait, why do dwarves have to be based off jews or disabled people? They're a legit myth from Nordic and Germanic mythology, and the master smiths and living in mountains parts was taken from that mythology and used in Tolkien and DnD. What's fucking racist about that?

This is from the dwarves in Tolkien's works Wikipedia page. He did in fact model them in part on Jews.

I'm surprised we don't see more attempts to cancel him based on that since it's actually true, even though the portrayal of dwarves is nearly entirely positive, even of their "Jewish" traits, and Tolkien generally approved of Jews in reality as well.

More than generally approved he was a peace time opponent to nazi racial theory (an unpopular position believe it or not) and expressed sadness he wasn't at all Jewish when pressed by nazi party members. There are lots of examples of racists and anti racists positions in his writings but his real life activities, the popularity of his works and frankly the wealth of his families estate make him a very hard candidate to cancel on any serious level. he's not Lovecraft noted autist with a dislike of of eskimos and a cat with a funny name, He's virtually unassailable to a progressive attack.
