That does remind me, have they ever addressed where the Mongols stack on the heirarchy? I mean they were a bunch of colonizers, but they are non-white and it was white people they were colonizing.
White people that they were colonizing at the end. It was the Chinese, the Indians and the Muzzies at first.

Let's try a little thought experiment here. If you want to be rich and famous suddenly, write a book about how, on balance, the rise of the Third Reich and the Second World War that followed, were the greatest things to happen to happen to the world in the 20th century. You don't have to engage in rampant stormfaggotry, or say that the camps couldn't possibly have killed that many jews or anything like that. Just point out the rise of the world from the Great Depression, the post-war industrial golden age, advances in medical technology, industrial infrastructure and nuclear power and directly attribute this to the Austrian Corporal.

If this sounds far-fetched or fucking weird to you, it shouldn't because they are doing this for Genghis Khan right now. They point to his empire's religious tolerance as if this is at all unique in non or pre-abrahamic faith based empires and his reestablishment of the silk road and other ancient trade networks. There is a strain of thought that is attempting to rehabilitate the image of Genghis Khan and to frame him as a religiously tolerant ruler who reconnected a broken world.

Genghis Khan killed twenty million people. Leftism is a disease.

This is the ugliest mishmash of outrageous colonialist stereotypes of East Asian cultures all-mixed-up that the moderating team has seen in a long time, and the mods here have seen some ugly shit. You even managed to work in the word “tittering”. What the hell were you thinking?
That's the real reason why he ate a ban... the tittering, conniving eunuchs on the mod staff felt insulted. It would be ironic if the poster was actually asian.

The Fun Police strike again.

Guarantee that not a one of those moderators have read a single piece of Chinese classical literature, know any FOB Chinese, or are even marginally literate in East Asian history. This is the East Asian version of this meme:

Reminds me of the time when a coworker was like, "I want to watch Crazy Rich Asians" [for the representation or whatever] and I'm like, "why don't we actually watch something from bollywood or hong kong or japanese cinema?" "nah those are too weird."

More cultural insensitivity policing: you put your European setting in North America, committing cultural erasure and probably genocide.

The guy posts his dumb fun mishmash world...

...troon janny hops in to point out that akchually, that material is hella problematic, friendo...

This is one of those cases when it is not about the Indians' feelings getting hurt though . It is specifically about hatred against Gary Gygax and his creations. It's very transparent once you see it. These freaks have been trying to cancel Gygax, and using every sleight of hand to shape the narrative that will eventually allow them to take down the Problematic White Male Founding Figure.

I never really looked into that. I know that the Muzzies invasion of western Europe was largely ignored because the Christian Crusaders were busy colonizing an fucking desert; so I won't be surprised if it's another case of historical illiteracy

Saw an opinion on Tumblr that it does not count as opression if nobody being opressed was black.
The closest they got to Africa was in the general area of Serbia or something

So when was the last time they've justifiably banned someone?

Of course, we all know what their actual priorities are...

RRR is one of the best films I've seen recently. The average person who who bitches about wanting more representation would not watch it with a gun to their head.

Trust no human who does not like RRR. (now I forget which poster I was arguing with about india cinema on the Western Animation thread)

Bros of the year!

Honestly, even putting aside the faggotry, the sheer need to intervene in peoples conversations, is just embarrassing. Imagine chatting with a group of people and some faggot wanders over and hands you a card with his hand written 'You need to stop talking because...' rant on it. Just cringe.

There is not a single RPG.net moderator whose lot and personality wouldn't be improved by a severe beating, or even a whole series of them.

Remember how they were defending the X-Cards because it seemed like an great idea, at the time? It kind of makes you wonder just how much of their userbase actually reports shit that's vaguely offensive.

No? Is it anything like the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? (it's not a story the jedi would tell you. it's a sith legend)
Well, the short version of it is that Adam Koebel was a very popular figure in the RPG world. He co-wrote one of the hot new books of the time (Dungeon World), he had his own streaming show and was a twitch darling for a while, and he was very, very woke and promoted safety tools like the X card. Then he got cancelled over the most petty and ridiculous shit and he has disappeared from the internet.

Koebel built his brand around giving SocJus friendly advice to GMs, and then he proceeded to disregard his own advice. Even giving him the benefit of the doubt that what he did was a mistake, it still shows that even the most woke are just a few poorly chosen words away from being excommunicated. It's extra ironic given how if anyone else would have done this, Koebel would have been the first to publicly call for their head. "The hateful reaction was so severe that it shattered my previous beliefs about how my community operates." Bullshit. Karma is a bitch, Adam.

For more details, read here or here.
