Aw, man. My heart hurts for the poor jannies who have to find something else to do but get their kicks out of banning people for wrongthink.

The only sad thing about this post is that it had to be made at all. They basically just threw in the towel and said fuck it, we're not gonna ban people anymore over the Israel-Hamas shitshow.

Considering they almost never do that, that may actually be a little impressive.

Wrong choice. Because they closed the thread and didn't ban discussion which means the topic will come up in others and when they start banning in there the inmates will riot. When they do ban discussion the riots will get worse.

Isn't this an admission that they can't separate fact from fiction, and therefore shouldn't discuss politics at all? Or are they just refusing to discuss because that would result in them tipping their hands again?

I'd be skeptical of anything connected to Palestinians because they have a habit of diverting money collected under benign auspices just to buy more bombs for Hamas. That said, if it really is a legit charity, this is the douchiest, shittiest reason I've ever heard for banning a charity thread.

These people are not only not the moral elite they think they are, they're absolute garbage people.
