Eh, both sides have some dirt on their hands, if you ask me. I just think that it's weird to be frothing over Native American issues on Thanksgiving. I mean, there is a connection, but the average person wouldn't care about it.

Oh, I completely agree on that one and my post was meant to be intentionally ridiculous and ironic.

Seriously, sperging over Native Americans and Thanksgiving is a remnant of the late 60's and early 70's with the American Indian Movement that was part of the New Left and it eventually percolated into the wider pop culture which is where the Woke Left picked it up.

Even the AIM picked that one since it's a core part of the American historiography and one of the few big moments where the Natives are explicitly depicted as good guys, especially for the generation that grew up on old 1950's Westerns where the Injuns were the bad guys

Of course, we all know what the true most heinous crime is. Disagreeing with the preening handwringing party. Looks like CrazyIvan is fitting in well.

Faggy as hell. If I was modding, I might growl 'keep it constructive, gents', but that display was pathetic.

'Bizarrely aggressive posting'? Let's break this down. Okay, it was a pretty dumb concept -- a piece of software which generates single player gamebooks strikes me as a solution in desperate need of a problem. Knaight's response was kinda dickish though, and hardly constructive (and I actually agree, having seen some of the silly shit churned out by artificial neural network programs).

Hell, maybe Age of Fable is some hot shit ANN programmer and knows something we don't. Nothing's impossible, I guess.

'Threats of gambling' is just faggotry and Seiberwing is a faggot for throwing a one day ban when a warning to cool off would do. But then, that's RPGera for you.

Wow, they drew deep from the well of pedanticism for that one. And they still didn't address how you can threaten someone with gambling.

I see BethDragon wants to one-up Seiberwing in the faggotry competition.

These people did not get shoved into enough lockers when they were in high school, and I say that as a (former) high school nerd myself.

The intensely hostile reactions they have to 'redtext responses' makes me suspect they hate being publicly questioned about their decisions, hence why they bring the hammer down so savagely upon dissenters.

EDIT: So I went and looked at the full text of Age of Fable's response (Wallace didn't have the whole thing).

I LOVE how BethDragon is absolutely stunned that AoF isn't fazed by the amazing power of 'ban from a shitty forum'. Hey, BitchDragon: you aren't AoF's boss. You're not their spouse. You're not their superior officer. You really don't have any power beyond the tiny confines of RPGera.

Jesus, these speds really do have an inflated opinion of themselves, don't they?

It's the second to last paragraph that got my attention. She wants him to be intimidated. She wants to be able to intimidate people into doing what she says. It's always funny when nerds start acting like bullies.

Is this a she or a "she"?

Ye gods. I don't pay much regular attention to TTRPG drama, but are you telling me Beast is still some kind of political football over there? How many years has it been? Whacko.
