We had a great mini Pendragon campaign 15 years ago. I just remember my one friend getting a kick out of saying he was going to exercise his vigor.

Interesting, I only know the older edition books.

And better hope that this will be the final edition. Imagine the estate getting sold to some dangerhair for treefiddy so that they can publish a Nu Pendragon relieved of all the "problematic" ideas and 350% more BIPOC trans-mermaid knights...

This is the exact quote from the book:
Keep in mind this important fact: The Arthurian legend has survived for 1,400 years because it has been able to adapt to the needs of its audience. Therefore, if you wish, there is certainly room in the Enchanted Realm for women knights.

The 5.2 rulebook has a longer section on possible female knights than what was in 5.1, IIRC, but it's possible historical and mythological precedents for fighting women while noting that they were extremely rare. Also, 'back to the kitchen, wench' is explicitly mentioned as possible attitude towards fighting women in the campaign.

He didn't even defend Cosby, it's even better. He simply said that the now infamous "Cosby Suite" at Blizzard was not named for the sexual misconduct (I don't know enough about the case to know if it was sexual assault or not so I'm going with the broader term) that allegedly happened there but because of his sweaters (it had argyle carpet or something). He's not denying that there was sexual misconduct at Blizzard or even specifically in the Cosby Suite, he's just pointing out that multiple inside sources say it was named for his sweaters and that it got the name before the accusations against Cosby were widely known. Hell, he's not even denying that the room was named because of the sexual misconduct that happened there, he's just saying that it seems more likely to him that it was named for the carpet.
The mod even acknowledges that that's the case, but argues that even something that reasonable "has a very heavy silencing effect on what the room was used for".

Yeah apparently the room was named 6 years before the Cosby trial.

Your feelings about your facts that contradict my feelings are not as relevant as my feelings about your feelings about your facts that contradict my feelings.

I love the feelings over facts thing because it essentially boils down to the logic of pre school age children. I feel this is the reality that is happening therefore facts that contradict me can be safely ignored. From a 3 year old it's cute. From anyone over the age of 15 without some fairly major mental health problems it's a sign of impressive idiocy.

This is why fights in Tumblr become so entertaining. Very quickly they devolve into "Well your words made me feel X!." "Well your words made me feel Y!" Followed by a merry-go-round then of attempts to explain why their feeling set should trump the other's feeling set, as well as how these efforts to one up is making them feel even worse.

Anyway to track how much traffic to the site has went down over the years?

I'm wondering how close they are to the mods starting to eat their own.

And they're going to get angrier and snarkier every day until he does...
