Normally I would say being litigious is fucking gay... But I have never seen companies as eager, vocal, and willing to defend legitimate pedophiles and animal rapists as fucking Roblox and Discord. So a Discord admin tried to go onto his favorite server to groom little girls, realized he got flagged and banned by Ruben’s bot, and got mad enough to ban it. That’s what I’m going to assume happened here.

I'm genuinely mad reading this. People have convinced themselves that all those furry stereotypes are just a "funny haha" jokes that you can just laugh and ignore, that it's ok to leave young teenagers near people who are known to erotic roleplay with each other and participate in community meetings with orgy parties.
I can't in my heart say "Total Furry Death" as I've met genuine good people who were also furries, people who couldn't harm a fly and were fun to be around, but in my experience, those people weren't the stereotype, they were the exception.
I've seen with my very own two eyes what the stereotype is like: People who are the scum of the Earth, people who indoctrinated and groomed impressionable young kids to join in their twisted up sexual fantasies, people who backstab their friends and acquaintances for momentary pleasure, people who build up useless dramas instead of solving their issues like actual civilized humans, people who have a vendetta against anyone that calls out on their scummy behavior, people who my parents taught me since childhood to avoid, people which morally speaking, aren't people.
How many innocent children must be groomed before you confess that there is a problem within your community?! I'm not even asking for an immediate solution, all I'm asking is for some actual accountability! You honorless dogs! But no matter how many messed up dramas you create or how many people you hurt to keep your hedonistic lifestyle, it's just never enough for you. Bloody dirty rats.
I wish and hope that the next generations shall not be tainted by the disgusting manchildren like you. You deserve to be mocked and treated by the rest of the internet as the maggots that you are, and hopefully, the rest of the world will follow up as well.

I don't really use discord much, so I have to ask. Is it normal for servers to tell minors to remain quiet about their age? If so, why? I just got into a Christian server and there was a warning about that. Felt really, really weird and even a tad creepy.

A lot of cube games (minecraft, roblox, terraria, teardown, etc) and art related youtubers (like art storytellers) have servers that allow children unfortunately. I think a lot of them are trying to create an enviroment suitable for children but it's shortsighted and their kneejerk reaction isn't to kick all of the underages out of their server.
There is a meme about how your childhood minecraft youtuber ended up grooming someone because of that but I think the most notable case is the danger dolan one

Dolan story is honestly pretty fucking sad (recommending rob's media video on the matter) but that just proves that the hornyness of some degen can outdo even the most good faith attempts at trying to manage a community inclusive of children.
It's always better for everyone involved if there is as little communication as possible whenever children are involved in a product that you work on, and the little interaction there is should be policed and leashed with coomer tight grip.
It's a shame that we can't really coordinate with Ruben in a server of kinds to give him a hand but he did the right thing by not trying to revive his former discord after it got banned, can you *imagine* derranged degen furries going after the underage people rooting for Ruben. I think the logic behind that is if there are predators in the server, they won't know who to target if kids aren't openly publicly saying "I'm 12". I made the mistake of talking about my age a lot on the internet when I was a child and got some really degenerate men messaging me.
But at the same time, it's usually still pretty obvious to tell if someone's a child by the way they type. I honestly just think Discord in its entirety should be 18+ with ID verification. Having shared private spaces between adults and children just doesn't seem like a good idea. Kids who wanna play videogames with each other can just play them with friends at school.
