Are there any runners in here? If not, I might recommend starting running if I were you.

Need some reasons? Here are a few! http://www.runaddicts.net/health-nutrition/the-physical-and-mental-benefits-of-running

Funny fact: I was a pretty decent cross country runner in high school. I was accepted to two colleges one of which wanted me to run on their cross country team. I guess I wasn't a really passionate runner at the time, and wasn't crazy about the idea of running 8 miles instead of 3.

Neither of my parents encouraged me to do it (for some reason) so I went to the non-running school. Mysteriously I decided not to run regularly and sure enough felt depressed/unmotivated.

Ive started daily running and have not looked back.

You can't run from this

I'm a runner. I run marathons since I was 18 years old. It's a thing I really love to do.

Real talk now, how's your maidenhead? Have you found the sheikh of your dreams yet?

>Implying Kiwis exercise

I'm all seriousness though, it's been something I wanna do for a while, since I'm starting to get in bad shape. However, I'm kinda lost on how to train for marathons and stuff.

I prefer swimming, myself. Low impact, great for building strength & endurance. A good starting point for more vigorous exercise.

I used to hate running but I did the couch to 5k thing, started with a recording of music with the run/walk beeps in it but it was shit music so I got an app, there's a continuation that takes you to 10k once you're running 5k with no dramas

gotta go fast

Beat me to it... But yeah actually, for a good few years I would run on the treadmill twice a week for about 2 hours. I've been swimming more recently though. Running when you're listening to music can be fun, good stress release, your body will thank you.

Give running a chance people.

After 30 days and 75 miles of running I feel like a new person. I feel much happier much more creative and much more attractive/clearer skin (if I do say so myself.)

100 mile club here I come!

I prefer bicycling to running as I believe I have flat feet or some other foot problem (I get pretty bad pain in my heels if I run a lot or even just walk a lot in a day).

Also my lungs/heart are shit and I cannot do cardio for long without wanting to die.
