Pretty cool bite-sized game to spend a couple days on. I like how the title has the probably-unintentional double meaning of basically visiting the Zone for a bit of tourism and leaving whenever you feel like it.

Well yeah, it's obviously a Stalker fangame dude. But it's worthwhile just seeing how Stalker would play in third person.
I dunno about bullet sponge enemies; most things die in one or two headshots. Maybe locational damage isn't intuitive in a top-down game but I thought it was pretty satisfying. It does mean you pretty much have to stick to sniper rifles only plus a backup shotgun with the right ammo for when a chunky mutant gets too close, but a lot of games are like that.

I have decided to try stalkersoup and downloaded the final cut from MODDB but for some ungodly reason the inventory and HUD are all messed up.
Is that common?

I mean, the best fix for stalker mods in general is just too reinstall the game from scratch and if you didnt already follow a install tutorial to the letter.

If UI textures are stretched that means your texture resolution settings are fucked, try modifying those.
