They were VAs for Saints Row 3 and 4 and good actors if with the right script and direction. Hate them getting rid of the more "wackier" tones of the games. Fucking Yakuza at this point is all thats left for games that take itself not so serious but has a serous plot. Hell they are even commentating on the state of western politics.

Is that a male or female? Not really a big deal if they still have a good character customization suite. Maybe it'll be good. Doubt it they are removing the fun stuff and don't have the ability to write good stories. While i don't think 3 and 4 were bad they were at least fun. Maybe this game will bomb because this is the first time i heard about it.

Everyone is shitting on the new trailer, but honestly, it's another Volition game; I'm excited. This is exactly the sort of game I want to play right now.

I'm curious to see what the actual approach will be, but I think it's a crutch to immediately call it "woke", just because it features urban hipster youths.

Watch Dogs 2 isn't woke, despite being set in the hellhole of the US, San Francisco. It's too early to make assumptions on the actual quality of the game itself, but I will agree, whoever is in charge of Volition's advertising needs to be replaced ASAP.

They're simply terrible at their job; Volition didn't learn a thing from Agents of Mayhem, I see.

You've already decided this game is terrible based off the terrible marketing, forgetting that this is a current gen Volition game, and any of the perks that go along with it. Or even what the story could be.

People who gauge things on first impressions alone and then never, ever deviate from it are fucking sad.

And the fact you only view things with this all or nothing lens; REEE, HE'S NOT AGAINST IT LIKE ALL OF US, just proves to me how utterly shortsighted and whiny you really are. REEE, IT'S NOT LIKE SAINTS ROW 1 OR 2.... AGAIN! HOW DARE THEY1!!!

I admit the marketing is shit, but why don't you actually wait and see what the game actually offers before you decide to lynch it? And even if you don't like the story or characters, I can still guarantee you, it'll be a fun time, regardless. That's why the series has always been what it was for me. I loved Agents of Mayhem and while Saints Row 4 wasn't as good the second time around (it is my least favorite), it is still a good time.

Gat out of Hell genuinely sucked. SR 4 was basically a worse crackdown. Agents of Mayhem genuinely sucked. The story is essentially you play four college losers who instead of doing something smart, turn to crime instead, and lazily try to appeal to the fortnite crowd and remove the customizability aspects of it. We know this because guess what? Leaks are common now.

Look, keep tantruming over me and like one other guy giving you a trashcan sticker, but I have other threads to read and then shit to do later in the day.
