Is it me or is the scene where Big Bad punches Eli desynced? There's a delay between the action and the sound.
The end of High Noon gave me a chuckle. Shame it dragged on longer than it needed to.

Imagine writing some of the most obnoxious supporting characters, watching their videos get ratioed early on, and then fucking double downing on them being so cool that the bad guy, who of course isn't one of your Lts., wants them as friends. Holy fucking shit this is amazingly bad and I have no sympathy if Volition gets ripped apart and dies horribly in bankruptcy.
And a Heli fight? On the one hand that does sound like an actual boss fight that you'd do in the first two games, I will be fair with that. The difference? It's a fight you'd do with a rival gang's Lt. Hell, it's still a disappointment given things like the fight with Sunshine, the sword duel with Jyuunichi, having to put down Victor despite how he KEEPS FUCKING GOING, or saving Ben King from Warren.
So yeah even this fight's still shit.

The whole game looks like a drag. No build-up, no character development, all predictable tropes droned on with no tension.

That said, these assets could've been saved to make a decent game. I legit love the missionary church as a gang HQ. The western touches could've been an interesting spin too. A Saints Row-ified RDR is an interesting idea that was staring at them in the face yet they chose fortnite jokes and queer friendships instead.
