I'm not sure I'm even remotely surprised.

Reactions: The Last Stand
This Saint's Row reboot is a beta test for what's going to happen to GTA VI is Rockstar stays on the path they intend to in terms of being more politically correct.

I don't know how many games have to eat shit before developers realize that Twitter and reddit zoomer activists don't buy games
you are still falling for the illusion that the terminally online leftists have that much sway over companies.
It's ESG simple as and it will only get worse.

Volition should be dissolved or at the very least rebranded. The fact that this travesty will forever be associated with Red Faction and earlier SR entries is almost slanderous. This is not the same team in any way, shape or form. Take your spiteful politically correct soyboy/feminazi devs and your "relateable" gen Z bullshit and just go somewhere else. Let Volition die.

I don't know when Volition became such an arrogant company, but they deserve to get brought down several more pegs.
Boy, it's already wheelchair accessible, I don't think it can get any lower.
Sadly my computer got killed in a storm tuesday so i cannot share more pictures of the glitches because the back up computer I'm using has a gt710, plus the lightning bolt came through the comms cable so my router was the first to die, main pc was second...

When you deep down think about it, SAINTS ROW™ was basically a Netflix series that went on for too long, but they decided to rebrand it as a video game because they know that that’s where the money is.

It’s no more different than people liking Stranger Things for the nostalgia of the 80’s, but not caring about the fact that the story makes no sense whatsoever.

You have an ability to do an exploding punch. It uses adrenaline charges and you get somewhere between 3-5 of them.

Having played it for about six hours (easy to find), it's pretty mid. The wokeness isn't as overbearing as I thought it'd be; the bigger problem is that the game is just fucking boring rather than lecturing me about white privilege or giving me Tranny Rambo as a companion. In fact I'd say RDR2 was way more obnoxious on the woke front than this game is.

Saints Row 2022 just feels like an inept sophomore effort. Kind of like the Halo show or the Netflix Resident Evil; it's like they had a generic crime game planned out and then shoehorned some Saints Row stuff in as an afterthought. There's a whole bunch of references to "Self Made" and "Be Your Own Boss" within mission dialog, which makes me think that was the intended working title before they pivoted to making it part of the Saints Row 'verse. Gameplay is boring, cars are no fun to drive (and oddly quiet), and there are bugs both major and minor all over the place.
RDR2 was really obnoxious with the woke shit and I don't get why it gets a pass.

even God doesn't want you to play such shit

The woke shit is sparse and the rest of the story is pretty good.
The most blatant wokeshit is you getting paid by a dude to drive some suffragettes around town because his girl is one of them and he's just got to put up with some of that bullshit if he wants to keep courting her. Said woman later robs her family blind of all its fancy jewelry so she can run off to Boston with him.

There's also a couple annoying suffragettes you can beat the shit out of and some absolutely retarded KKK members right out of a Mel Brooks movie you can save from accidentally setting themselves on fire by shooting them in the face.

(That girl's family totally deserved it though, not joking. Besides, you end up doing far, far worse to them during the main story. Goddamn Braithwaites...)
