He did a “reading chapter 1” on discord a few days ago, which I couldn’t attend because it was 3 am in my time. It was said though that this is not the final product so I’m thinking what the hell he edited chapter one a while ago and it is still not the final draft like wtf guy are you insane how many times do you want to edit it yet, and we’re talking about chapter 1.
weird. she either had a mic problem and fennah was rushing to get it out so people stopped whining about it, so he slapped a filter on OR this was a creative decision.
Considering how sloppy Fennah can be at times, it was most likely NOT a creative decision. However, when I think about it y'know Fennah is a try-hard when it comes to making his characters look and sound edgy. So Fennah probably just added the voice filter last minute because it sounded cool to him, despite the fact that it sounds ridiculous. Winifred is the only character we've seen with this voice filter. She's suppose to be intimidating and yet between the floppy puppy-like ears and the weird voice filter- I still can't take her seriously.
Perhaps it was so late due to mic issues, and eventually said "just give me the best you can do right now, I'll figure it out." As it confuses me that he didn't use a better take.
Sam, how are you gonna even rig that if you plan on doing so? Those tentacles need to be in straight lines in order for the deformations to look better. Curved deform meshes could work, but ngl i kinda doubt you'd take shit.
Saw this and my first thought was he's getting distracted yet again, instead of working on the animation tests like he promised- he's busy doing other pointless shit.

Oh yay... vines. It's almost as if Fennah has run out of fucks to give and so he's just gonna animate whatever the hell he wants. Didn't he have a schedule set this year for what he was gonna animate? We never got that Locket or Fontaine animation test, he didn't say what character he would animate next for the voice tests. I'm exhausted to be honest, he's like a fucking dog always getting distracted by a squirrel. There's no structure, no passion, wtf happened to the Fennah that was churning out animations almost everyday... can we get that Fennah back please because this is pathetic.
So after he animates this and uploads it to YouTube, I wonder what he'll plan next. There's no way the book is gonna be finished by the end of this year, without a doubt. How many times has he postponed his book's release? Maybe he'll finally finish that Locket animation test, he still needs to start that Fontaine animation test. His schedule is very inconsistent, it irritates me to no end.
