The part at 0:08 where she swivels around I think he kind of messed up on, otherwise, I think it's okay.
Edit: Okay the teeth do look odd with the lighting and the animation is too flashy. I do think it's one of his better animations, but at the same time, I might not be looking at it close enough

Checked in on the Amazon reviews. Right now it's sitting at 139 ratings with a 4.8 on Amazon and 4.74 on Goodreads, which is very respectable for a self-published author. The only critical reviews on Amazon as of now are for the quality of the physical book, which people complaining about literally falling apart and arriving covered in glue and "sticky."

I'm glad at least someone's checking out this thread because that means I could say a few things without it being considering necroposting:
1. Fennah recently did a read through of the prologue and chapters 1 and 2 of his second book. The chapters continue off from the end of the first book, but the prologue, there are three characters that had no previous mention and made no fucking sense to the plot of either book. In chapter one, there are so many character descriptions I thought I was going to have a stroke. One thing Sam seriously needs to work on is not giving descriptions for characters that have no relevance to the story whatsoever. Or even better no character descriptions at all. The illustrations of characters exist for a reason. There is no point for giving descriptions of characters if an illustration of them is literally going to appear on the next page. There is also tons of descriptions of buildings and boats in both this book and the second book. Nobody gives a fuck about what a building or a boat looks like.

This thing. Not a commission, but her name is Reeva and in my opinion, her design is pretty cool (I'm just thankful she doesn't have mega tits like some of Sam's other creatures).
- That groove in her neck looks not at all normal
-The first pic with her tongue sticking out...that was absolutely not necessary. According to the book world, sticking your tongue out is inappropriate, so why are so many of these creatures seen doing it?
- The bottom half of her in the full body photos looks like it's completely furless. This might just be what I'm seeing, but its irritating.
3. What the hell is the point of the nsfw channels in the Discord if the community talks about nsfw stuff in the sfw channels and the Kiv world is pretty nsfw in itself? It's also worth noting there are minors in this community and showing stuff like contorting bodies and other inappropriate stuff to minors is so fucked up. There was even a smash or pass alignment chart thing at some point.
4. Sam didn't read the entirety of chapter 2 because Whittaker and Bamforth attack Lucy and he wanted to leave it on a cliffhanger for what happens to her. This is so easily predictable: she's going to live. We all know well that Sam won't kill off Lucy by any means because she's his favorite character.
5. The most replayed parts of Fennah's videos are either when the characters are doing that could be viewed as sexual or when they're naked or something. And Sam's all like "What the hell?"
If you have characters with big tits and other fetishy stuff, there's inevitably going to be people replaying parts that show that stuff.
6. With most communities, there is a good side (aka people that are normal fans of the show, game, etc) and bad side (aka people who simp over the characters and draw porn of them). With Fennah's community, though, there is no part of the community you can go to get away from the weirdos of the community. They are all weird in one way or another. Why do I say this? Because if the community wasn't weird, then they'd be like "What the fuck is this stuff?" and stay away from it. Fennah himself isn't even exempt from this admitting Celia is hot, commissioning nsfw art from people and not deleting nsfw content from the sfw channels on the discord.
At least Sam and his community are finally admiting to getting off to the characters, but Fennah's content is degenerate content that attracts degenerates.
7. Oc x Canon ships in this community piss me off so much. Normally I would just cringe a little at oc x canon in a community and leave it alone. However, these people make ocs and I see them draw almost nothing outside of ship art with the oc. They also seem to be genuinely convinced certain characters are their wife/husband and it's usually the same character they shipped their oc with, making me believe that the oc is a self insert. This also isn't the first time someone has done this, as Mystique (maybe Luna) was obviously a self insert during Satellite City. Don't even get me started on the art of Yeshua and Mystique.
8. The most recent Fennah video features Lucy drinking the Grimace shake and falling down a set of stairs. The animation wasn't even that bad apart from some unneeded ear wiggle at the beginning, but she did not have to land with her butt in the air with her tongue sticking out.
9. Fennah says the next book will be out somewhere from late 2024 to early 2025, but we all know that isn't true. If it took him 5 years to write a 26 chapter book, then what makes him think he can write a 41 (not kidding) chapter book in 1-2 years.
I think I should just stay away from Fennah's community for a while. I end up writing a whole 10 paragraph essay on how much I hate him, his community and his work every time I look at anything involving it.

I agree that's it's hard to care about Fennah at this point. He's obviously not trying to hide his fetish now that he's gotten so much approval from his fans for it. They are spending close to $50 on a edgy furry book on paper back. They should be more pissed for getting the book in bad condition. Most youtubers books are around $16 paperback to $20 hardcover.

The thing about Fennah's community is that they know its a fetish and they very obviously get off to it, but Sam is so in denial (maybe a little late)
I'm not joking. Someone posted some art on the nsfw art channel of the Discord and someone else commented on how it was basically porn and the person who originally drew it said "well its the nsfw channel" while Sam and Flup and a bunch of other people started backing up the art as being lore. It was a scene in the book, but the fact the artist chose that scene specifically puts their fetishes on full display.
I haven't seen the person who said it was porn since and I'm thinking they left on their own or got kicked out.
Edit: The first two book animations weren't even that bad and that surprised me since Teazzer is a female character and he didn't put any emphasis on her chest area, but I do feel like the one that's about to happen is going bump up the fetish aspect to the max, especially if its Harlow, who Fennah and the Discord have taken quite a liking to.
