Well i gotta say thanks for posting this cause MDE is hilarious. As a Rhode Islander it's great to see someone from my state having success. Realized i have actually met the guy a few time in the past, he went to RISD at the same years as my then GF.
Someone posted the early ParkourDude91 references in another thread however. I think it's more likely MDE guys met Jace on steam or something back in the day and used this for inspiration.
edit: Gail sounds like every other women in The North East around her age.. When i first heard her voice I though it was my dead grandmother, so I would not read much into that.

Yeah, I don't think Jan is Jace. Looking through some of the info here:

Jan was a home-schooled fourth grader in 2003, when Jace would have been 12.
Jan has an older sister, and his father was an active part of his life in 2005 when the court case was argued. I don't know when Jace's dad ran off, but I assume it was earlier than that.
And really, judging by Jan's behavior in that court case... I could maybe see him growing up to become Jace, but not someone socially skilled enough to create a fake Jace.

I currently assume either Jace is just a cover name for Jan - and he is actually insane. Or that Jace and Jan have no relation.

He was introduced as Wade Moonsong so I figured it was just a joke. That's interesting. There's a minor web presence for "Wade Moonsong". It could very well be another fan, there's a Twitter user who had the name once who looks like just some random guy, but a couple of the pages look like profiles for a troll character.
Credits to @Enig for this, but the jstryker91 Steam profile apparently only started using the name ParkourDude91 in December 2012 and previously had the names, "WeedStonerBlunt420(Blazeing)", "AnalWarrior420", "Bowl Cut War Criminal", and "[USMC]SOCCER DAD". These names absolutely sound like MDE's style of humor.
Based on the records it looks like Jace is a real person, but I only bring this up because that would mean that Jace legitimately referred to himself as "Bowl Cut War Criminal" at one point in time, which is information that would make all efforts in this investigation wholly worthwhile.

I initially wrote this whole thing off as rather tin-foily for my tastes, but Bowl Cut War Criminal... you might be onto something.
But Jace's last name is supposed to be Connors. Also: http://www.intelius.com/Find-Phone-Address/North+Brookfield-MA/Jace-Connor.html says he is 41. I am unsure how accurate this site's age thing is though. Who knows.

I can verify based on databases I have access to that there is a "Jace Connor" in North Brookfield registered to vote with a DoB of 1974-02-05. That doesn't mean that the state didn't mangle the DoB and name during data entry which is pretty common for voter rolls, but there you go. There is also a Robert Connor (born 1976) and a Charlotte Connor (born 1950) registered in North Brookfield.
take notice of jaces steam login name and take a look at the website listed for Jan Rankowski. This is more than enough to confirm that Jace is Jan if you can't see that at this point you are delusional. It was fun while it lasted. Jace is a fraud.
