Charls brought surrealism to the crew. Yes, Sam has cribbed it since. But if you look at Sam’s early humor before Charls he was edgy without the surrealism. Pointless and worn. I’d argue what Charls added is worthy of being considered a major component of the show
I can see that, but I think Charls is better as a writer more than an actor. His comedic chops is honestly mostly him being an angry manlet for me, I hope he overcomes whatever demon is eating away at him and either stops having mental episodes and moves on from MDE or forgives Sam enough to contribute something to the show to bury the hachet.

I have. There's a couple of people mocking them, but it's usually countered with dozens of others calling them tranny faggots.
