The streams are free but I've missed every single one because I'm pretty sure they're spontaneous. Search for Sam Hyde on YouTube and sort by newly uploaded and you might be able to find one. That's how I was able to watch the stream with Nick a few days ago.

They are done only for superchats I'd imagine. They probably private them afterwards in case something particularly spicy was said, fearing YouTube will eventually try to mess with them.

Best bet is to subscribe with notifications on and catch 'em live. Honestly, the best part has been appreciating how good he actually is at the game. They haven't been particularly funny, with a few exceptions here and there. Mostly in relation to the complaints Sam has about the game.

I get what you mean. Nick is a guy who can drop some really killer one-liners, but I've noticed he'll sometimes try too hard to keep up the laughs and end up expanding those one-liners into long tangents that don't really add anything and just keep repeating the same idea, running a good joke into the ground. Sam is usually laughing the whole time he does that kind of thing though, so what do I know? Maybe some people love that part of Nick.

I noticed this too, sometimes it's a little much. I seriously feel that I'd find it a lot funnier in person, though. I know a couple of those New-Englanders of the same archetype and style of humor Nick has and they're probably some of the funniest people I know.

Regardless, I completely agree with you. It doesn't exactly translate well onto the video format.

Considering how much Charles avoids talking about Sam as well, I think it might be because they're sick of being asked about it.

Anyone else here find it strange how relatively laid back Sam's Wikipedia article is? Virtually anyone who's ever been labelled alt-right by the media gets their page opened with "[Insert name here] is a far-right white nationalist supremacist bad man" I bet you there was enough hit pieces on Sam to even properly source that line too. Sam gets described as a comedian and nothing about the alt-right is even mentioned until the second paragraph which just says he associated with it. There is also no controversies section and it's very straight forward and fact oriented.

Charles coming back just isn't going to happen. Another house touring PGL clip up on the channel and it feels old/stale/boring by now. I am impressed with Nick's knowledge throughout this series though as someone who knows fuck-all about houses. The livestreams are boring as hell and just all around terrible. Sam would be better off getting TTS for donation reading, the dude trying to read ones yesterday sucked. That said, he won't use TTS because he can't filter out things he doesn't want.

It seems Sam's next project is to get World Peace 2 funded and produced. Even if he does, it won't be as good as the first. The first season had enough Charles-only skits/interstitial bits that, even if you weren't in his humor, helped the pace and overall feel of the show tremendously. A bunch of Sam skits with possibly Nick being sidekick occasionally just isn't going to set it apart enough from any other content he makes anymore.
