Sam Hyde

Whoever the young fella is he's struggling to read the superchats, christ alive
I know, I did notice a £50 donation in last night's stream asking if he would work with Charles again if mde came back and he didn't read it. Maybe Sam will block the word Charles in the future
Considering how much Charles avoids talking about Sam as well, I think it might be because they're sick of being asked about it.
But it also coulda been the simple cunt just missed it entirely
The same zoomer also avoided a superchat question that asked about Don Jolly and that recording of Sam firing him; the lad read the beginning of the question before dismissing it entirely (he didn't mention Jolly outloud) and read the next superchat instead.

World Peace without Charls is no bueno. I mean just look at the retards Sam hangs out with. They're barely literate. Literally not cut out to read donos. We've had over half a decade of mostly underwhelming stuff from Sam and his tykes, without the OG Ascended Masters I have no hope in this project. Until I see Ruse/Charls involved I won't get my hopes up.

Like everyone does, you forget Erick, World Peace is a classic limited series if you’re aware of what made it so good, Charls and Erick wrote a lot of the best skits, Nicks acting carried it and Sam stole the show, but there’s a reason Sam’s content doesn’t hit those same notes. It was a masterpiece of collaboration and kino synchronicity. It can’t be imitated or replicated because it was a team endeavor.

Looks like MDE 2 is gonna happen. So Nick having Charls and Ruse over to his house while Sam was having his boxing match mustve been to see if there was intrest in hopping onboard. Looking forward to blacklist 2 boogaloo to follow the release.

I loved WP. But to be completely honest, I don't have any high expectations for this one. This post already explained it very well:

I don't know the story of Erick and what his relation with Sam/possibly Nick is currently now (I would appreciate it if someone can give me a basic gestalt), but the bridge with Charls is definitely burned. Which sucks, because the "You wanna be safe?" skit was my favorite of the show and at some parts actually grounded in reality. Having gold bars in a safe is a lot better than paper money if you really think about it.

The other current crew members are basically college kids. Personally I think that Jet would be the most fun to hang around with when he's not on camera, but sadly every one of them are wiggers and Yes-men when it comes to Sam. In some cases the members could possibly have drug problems ("Lean" in particular, which basically benzos codeine/opioids. And it's shit you do not want to fuck around with.) and also that definitely would interfere in the writing process for future skits. Also the life experience could be very lacking. A stark contrast regarding that would be Nick, but one single person can't carry everything and my money would be on him and Sam together to write the best skits if this thing isn't about to be canned. We'll just see what happens. If it is not a masterpiece but still actually really good, I'll eat my words.

I've never heard of don jolly, I remember Sam talking about a guy who made graphics for him but tried too hard to fit in and fired them so is this same guy.

Don Jolly had his own website and youtube channel (both now seem to be abandoned), and he claimed after the fact that he joined up with Sam as some kind of plan to infiltrate and troll him. I don't know what Don was hired to do, but I think there was a (4chan?) post Sam made claiming that Don wasn't getting the work done and that he fired Don because he started lying to Sam's associates that Sam wasn't paying him. I'm not sure if it's the same guy you're thinking of, but there have been a lot of former employees that Sam has mentioned or that made their own statements about getting fired.

Wasn't the one I was talking about but this is new information I didn't know about.

I tried finding a clip of what I was talking about, I think it was one the podcast they talked about someone who did really good graphics for them but was trying way to hard to fit in and being fake.

Erick won't come back either because he knows Sam through Charls. Erick and Charls used to be a comedy duo before becoming part of MDE. They had a youtube channel that I think is probably long gone now where they posted skits that they did together. It was called "Black Water Country" or something like that. I forget the exact name because it became defunct around 2010 when Ideas Man was being made and MDE as we knew it began.

Sounds like a different guy. I'm pretty sure Don Jolly was a writer primarily. I remember before he had the website linked above, he was trying to do some e-zine that he was shilling on the MDE subreddit back in the day. I could be remembering wrong though.

Don Jolly did a few sketches for HydeWars, including his lecture on Superman:
And co-starring on another episode of HydeWars (HW_027 - Eating in Bed), focusing on his experience with graduate-level college (and life after it):
In the firing vocaroo, Sam summarises Jolly's output for him as "getting people to come to a public access studio" and "getting makeup done".

Regarding World Peace 2 to be brutally honest I don't think Sam has the creative juices left to even make it. Go look at Pre WP cancellation Sam and look at bloated, angry, bitter modern Sam and compare how funny the two are. It's not even a competition. I think World Peace being cancelled did something to Sam (combined with him aging) he just doesn't have that spark anymore. He can still be occasionally hilarious like with the Candy Man stuff but he clearly peaked with WP. You also don't have Charls, Andrew Ruse and Erick Hayden who were all vital to making it.

Sam got a pretty good shot in the arm this year after Idubbbz and Candy Man but he's gonna blow all of that momentum on WP2. He should stick to playing straight man to Nick on PGL and making that a bigger thing

IIRC, Don was a somewhat frequent poster on /lit/ and a smaller breakoff image board. Had some small magazine he worked on called Dagger Mag that had some interesting content.

Free lore 4 u.

Oh god it's that guy totally forgot but now I remember, glad he's gone.

Thank you! I was trying to remember the name and it made me think I was mis-attributing it to Don.

Considering how confident Sam appears to be here, I have a hunch he's got some bigger people involved than we realise. We live in a world where Kanye West doing a squeaky voice to a red net on Info Wars may have given Klaus Schwabe a heart attack. I expect nothing, And everything. We shall see.
