Then they came for joyrideuniverse and I didn't speak out - because I was not a sock account.

Then they stopped coming, and the thread was chill and for the fellas only.

The two bands I remember publically disavowing world peace when it got cancelled were Chasity Belt a feminist rock band (lol) and Ovlo who were basically pressured into doing so because they were an indie rock band and being anything but ultra progressive is suicide in that community. I don't think soft moon disavowed. John Maus of course didn't and neither did Brian Ellis.

I remember Nick posted an IG story with the WP2 director Alex Schultz going to a Ovlov concert and took pics with them, so I assume their on good terms. The Pitchfork article confirms that 3Teeth, Molly Nilsson (John Maus covered the track), Chasity Belt, and Ovlov were contacted for comment but not The Soft Moon, Brian Ellis or any of the OST musicians for WP S1 (expect for Danny L. Harle who did not respond for comment), with four of them posting statements of their disavowal to Facebook or to the publisher themselves, the Ovlov statement has been taken down on FB.

Last year when Sam was live streaming giving feedback to musicians and artists the bass player from Ovlov gave a superchat saying basically "thanks for the opportunity and looking forward to season 2"
Sam called him out for not having a spine and apologizing on Twitter. "You didn't have to do that. You could've just said nothing." He later went on to say he enjoyed working with the band.

John Maus was the only musical guest who actually stood up for Sam and the show.

3teeth (gay nerd buttrock band with pedo stashes) disavowed too. According to Nick it seems like they hung out the most during WP and talked about doing coke and partying and were going to work on something in LA, so them disavowing for scheklers seemed to really piss Nick off because it’s not like they just showed up and did contracted work, the band actually got to know MDE personally and made future plans.

Well one mans ideal woman had the personality of Sam Hyde. Yeah I'm sure a female with Sam Hydes mind would be great.

it should be emphasized that channing is in contact with her, pursuing her hate(love)quest as ever. @popnlochnessmonster made the connection but @joyrideuniverse was channing bragging about getting summer on her side. theres no telling how much damage shes doing to summers mental state.

its incredible how someone could be so dedicated to a person they claim to hate. at a certain point you gotta just live your life right? anyway, channing if youre reading this, no one cares about what summer has to say because shes more obviously insane than you.

Summer's story is admittedly fucked up and if it's true I think there needs to be a criminal investigation against Sam and Jet. Here are some key details: She was picked up by an Uber driver she had never met before. She was then dropped off at the airport and abandoned. The Uber driver just drove off leaving her at the airport with a return flight ticked and all of her bags. This is a horrifying scenario if true.

This is the third time she's done this. And she also blames hackers most times too including after doing a two hour appearance on a Twitter space where she was having fun and being a good sport just a couple days ago.
