Sam shows up in exactly 0 arrest/inmate searches though so they probably realized it was just some crazy cunt who reported him (if he was even reported, this just shows that Channing made a report - doesn't specify who she reported)

What I'm guessing happened is they put him in cuffs, questioned him, realized Channing was a scorned ex that was making shit up, and Sam sweet talked them into uncuffing him on stage for the publicity.
