Charls is a central figure in this documentary about the history of MDE who booted up a (regrettable) stream detailing his turbulent relationship with Sam even before WP was canceled. It was some of the first real bts stuff we got from anyone connected to MDE post breakup about the state of the trio. I wouldn't want a full dissection of the stream, that would be excessive, but I think it would be appropriate to bring up some of the central points Charls made back then even if it was to hand wave it away in narration.

Compared to the Porsalin and Idubbz doc, Buckingham's is by far the best, really cool to get bts details about the group. I do think its cucked to not include the clips from the Charls meltdown stream if you are going to bring up the rift between Sam and Charls. Also now that Sam admitted that he added swastikas in the title cards of WP, seeing people use the old video of him going "I would never do that, I am so scared of making people mad, we are on our best behavior" as proof that he never did is cringe and gay.

He added only a brief no audio footage of it I believe. But honestly them not bringing up much about their conflict is understandable. Two years ago my old friend and I reconciled after a long time of not talking to each other and we just never bring up that time at all. It just wasn't a good time at all and it's understandable why they don't go into details of it. Not to mention that Chuck's meltdown was in Turkey and it was around the time of that earthquake. He was completely hammered there and weeping. It was really ugly and it's one thing that just completely shattered Sam and made him apologize live.

They did touch on the rift between Charls and Sam the best they could. Charls did talk about it with Brandon though Charls can sometimes be hard to decipher for some people. A telling moment was when Charls commented on Sam's determination of continuing to make videos just like a week after the show was cancelled saying "for a weak and feeble individual it kind of shuts you down pretty much but I guess if you're not then you soldier on" he then said that he was the weak and feeble person in that example. He would go on to talk about how getting back in with MDE was "necessary for his soul".

Charls talking about how it's so important to move forward and any hang ups you have over any petty perceived slight against you or anything that blocks you from progressing in your life, he sees as the Devil himself, and that's a very good way of speaking on the matter. This is probably the most in depth you'll hear Charls talk about that subject.

It is extremely hard to debunk any of this. Honestly, I've never thought Sam was my Daddy or anything like that, but fuck that is actually shocking.

But, I think this is honestly too little and too late. Sam doesn't really need to give a shit about this because people don't care or they don't believe it (and this guy in particular, although he is extremely well researched, is a poor and boring speaker). Not to mention, the Overton window is shifting to the extremes, and a lot of people are unironically Nazis/Antisemitic/Wignats.

Yeah the Marky shit is kind of undisputable. You could still dispute if they actually had sex, but how do you even prove that? The proof is that he's shirtless and she's obviously topless.

As for me, I do think a lot of this shit is kind of pointless. The Harland show is a crack in the armor, the Marky sex shit is a blemish on his character, but Sam himself has a lot of things going for him that point to this never mattering in the grand scheme of things. He's made Fishtank which makes a fuck ton of money, MDE S2, PGL, Sam Hyde Show, Nick Rochefort's Realtor show, and he is going to keep going even if this shit blows up...he has multiple avenues to deny these allegations in a manner that is satisfactory to his audience.

In the end, although the evidence is undeniable, it is so convoluted and complicated to prove, that only Sam's most dedicated of A-logs will see it to its completion, and even then they have to prove that to his fans, who probably do not give a fuck regardless. The only thing that could possibly damage him would be Marky trying to put him in prison with sex trafficking over state lines, but she would have to prove that and it's been 11 years.

To add onto my previous post, cancelling Sam is extremely difficult now because of the fact that he has a hand in everything his circle has done so far, and a lot of people don't give a shit about Sam but are actually fans of Nick, Charls, or Fishtank. So even if Sam is cancelled, he already has multiple avenues to continue his sketch comedy but in the backseat or the director's role.
