I'm going to assume that the supplier of information for the news article is the faggot that swatted the house. Probably got mad that nothing happened and decided to start spamming the local government even further.
At the start of the season there was a schizo on 4chan trying to "expose" Sam and MDE for scamming the previous owner out of the house for $1. If you lurk the /ftl/ thread on /tv/ then you should probably remember that crazy psycho.

Does Shinji even need to be "more competitive"? He's winning most contests and has a big endorsement lead.

Rather than pressuring him, production should ask themselves WHY does he have that lead in the first place.

Maybe then they can try to reinforce that on the rest of the fish instead of repeating the same failing Jet strategy time and time again.

I hope not and I don't exactly know where you get the idea that he's competent, he's barely done anything and the few bits he's been involved with were painfully unfunny. I like Ben a lot and he has a better idea of what's funny but he's not as in control as Sam is. Reality is that we don't know exactly how stuff behind the scenes work, only small glimpses, but it is pretty clear that by how Jet tries to control and talk to the fish and what he tweets that he really doesn't know what he's doing and has a vision of how things should work that clash with Sam and most viewers.
 
How close is the house next to other houses? I can actually understand complaints if the house is right next to their neighbors, Fish Tank can get loud as fuck, especially during late night hours when people are trying to sleep.

I guess I assumed that Sam and co would have already thought of this and would buy a house far enough away to not disturb the locals but after everything else I've seen, I'm now not so sure. If they're close enough to other people I would complain too.

The article says it sits on .65 acres which is decently big. Big enough that there should be no issue with noise at all lol. Like somebody above said I would assume it's alogging from somebody with a hate boner.

Yeah, you posted right before I was about to. They're not that close to any individual house, if you can hear stuff it would probably only reach the road itself. Most of the fishtank action happens at night so unless the upper house is in the pool at night I don't see how anyone could be regularly disturbed by it.
